Overnight travelling south
1agson 11/11/2017 07:46Very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We have used Novotel hotels on every trip to France over the last 20 years or more and this was the time when we know we must change.
The room was looking very tired and almost scruffy. The restaurant service was slow and the seating arrangement caused major discomfort with the neighbouring table chairs pushed against our table despite the restaurant being very roomy.
The current menu leaves a lot to be desired.
Altogether a very poor experience.
Good service but could do with a refresh.
Old60timeron 31/10/2017 22:21We had a standard room and the facilities were fine. This Novotel is now looking a bit jaded. The restaurant had reasonable food is little over priced for what you get. It is a good stopping place however if travelling through France.

a good hotel difficult to find but in all aspects this is a very nice location with a positive attitude
the 2 beds is nice and much better than the small double beds of most novotels

oldfart2014on 28/09/2017 10:08We have used this hotel many times over the last 12 years when we travel from the UK to the Languedoc. It really works for us, for a number of reasons:
a) we can book ahead with a flexible booking, and cancel right up until 6pm on day of arrival if our plans change.
b) restaurant is open late, so no problem if we are delayed en route.
c) always friendly staff, and decent enough value for money (not as cheap as some mind..)
d) location just off the A71 is convenient for us - its due south of Paris, and around half way from Calais to our final destination.
e) free wifi, rooms are plenty nice enough for a 1-2 night stay, free secure parking etc.
As usual were met with a warm welcome, everything worked well, and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant (although the food choices are somewhat more limited than in the past).
Recommended.
