Haghartsinon 13/11/2017 01:10This is a five star hotel in a historic building with beautiful grounds full of rosemary and lavender. There is a library and collection of daily newspapers available to guests. The breakfast was elegant. We liked the on site restaurant. The hotel is situated on top of the hill with easy walking access to the center of the town.
Quaint hotel in the heart of a charmy city
Giuseppe Bon 19/09/2017 18:49it is a great hotel quaint in the top of the city center of the middle age city of Assisi. Each room is different (and there are not that many rooms) with very original floors and windows. If you are looking for a modern "chain" based style hotel than it is not your place but if you are looking for unique experience than it is. The service is outstanding and breakfast and dinner are also very good full of hand made cakes, yogurt ect.
Do not miss the underneath SPA, Relaxing and unique too. Built over old Roman ruins.
Very good stay
Izzy Non 05/09/2017 22:56This was a last minute, literally on the afternoon of our stay, booking. We booked a superior room and our welcome was friendly and helpful. I found the hotel just a little shabby around the edges in some places...I think this is inevitable when going for the white clinical look but was disappointed that the garden, which could be stunning, was quite unkempt. We used the spa, which was fantastic and spent some time on a sun bed in the garden, we had to go and find someone to bring us a drink...I would have expected more attentive service. We booked a table in their restaurant and enjoyed an excellent meal with an amazing view....Assisi itself is not to be missed and was, unexpectedly, one of my favourite places on our road trip. Breakfast was good, again service was a little slow for a hotel of this calibre. I wonder if they have become a little complacent due to lack of any serious competition? I would stay again but more from lack of choice than being wowed.
Modern Meets Rustic Luxury
betterbelieveron 05/09/2017 12:13This gorgeous hotel was the center of a wonderful stay in Assisi. The facilities were clean, welcoming, and beautiful. They have an assortment of comfortable, upscale rooms in an ancient building. The staff was always friendly and seemed willing to do whatever was necessary to care for their guests. Their restaurant recommendations in town were all excellent, Umbrian style cuisine. As gorgeous as the room and grounds and gardens are, the Spa is absolutely stunning. Modern and built into the ancient monastery basement, it features a 4 room sauna, hot tub, and giant bathing whirlpool. It is as wonderful to use as it is to see. Spa massage treatments were expert and welcoming. A worth it splurge for 50-80 minutes. This hotel should be a destination.
Wonderful Property
Paucekon 11/08/2017 02:00Spent one night at Nun Assisi on our way to visit extended family in Tuscany. Traveled as a family of 4 with 2 teen boys. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Rooms are very comfortable with modern amenities and contemporary furnishings set in the old "bones" of the former monastery. It's a very unique spot and the pool / spa is fabulous. The staff was kind, welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
