100 Steps to the City!

A beautiful, simply beautiful setting with more flowers than any place i have ever seen plus outdoor terraces and wonderful covered sofa's and chairs. The aim of this facility is simply to please the guest and they did very, very well. We had a lovely room with a terrace facing the water with everything that you could want. It was large, sunny and clean as can be!!!! The breakfast was extraordinary from eggs to fresh breads, yogart and the very best coffee. Just outside of the gate, make a right, walk a little, climb a hundred steps and you are in the middle of a great town full of shops, resturant's and charm. Parking inside of the gate is a small fee which we elected to pay rather than fund a dent on the car rental. We stayed two nights and would return tomorrow. I so recommend this charming spot and the great resturants in town.
Loved the location, service - meh

Don't be put off by the fact that this is a bit of a walk from the main part of town. Pescallo Bay was lovely and quaint and gorgeous - and just a beautiful little stroll from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely return to stay in this area of town.
This was a fine hotel for the price (which wasn't much). If you stay, do try to get a lakeview room on the second floor. Breakfast was nice and the garden well cared for and a lovely place to sit.
A note about service: While the older woman who checked us in was lovely and friendly (gave us tons of recommendations, information, and maps) - the rest of the staff was very unhelpful, including the owner. While I understand that not all requests can be accommodated, my simple query about checking out at 12:30pm rather than 11am was scoffed at pretty rudely. Additionally, when we did return to retrieve our luggage at 12:30, my request to use a bathroom before having to travel to the airport was initially refused. I had to beg to be able to use a bathroom in one of the many empty rooms.
Again, hotel was fine for the price (and we booked it just a few weeks before our trip) - but a little more hospitality would be an improvement.
Clean rooms, great breakfast, OK location, OK staff

We loved our hotel. On the website it said they did not have air conditioning but we were given the option when we checked in. The location wasn't the greatest. In the hotel sun it feels like forever to reach any public transportation or restaurants. But it was very clean, updated, and the breakfast was great. The typical meats, cheeses, and breads you see in Europe. But their pastry selection was amazing! So good. Our only real complaint was the hotel front desk. It is often not maned and when we checked out we had to search for someone to help us. Made us a bit nervous with a bus to catch. Were staying at a nearby hotel, so tried out most of the restaurants in Cernobbia during our week's stay.
The lunch that we enjoyed at the Miralago was the best out of all of those tried. Fabulous Caprese Salad and fish dishes. The bass was amazing.
Service was also excellent and price very reasonable. Highly recommended....
Beautiful place and wonderful staff

We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a wonderful stay :) the accommodation itself was nice and the staff were just amazing. The location was great as well, 50meters off the lake with a nice view of the lake. Depending how fit you feel you could take the stairs and be in town in under 10mins or walk around and be there in 20mins. This place was amazing :)
