Myself and my teammates from the GB fencing team booked this hotel. Firstly our confirmation had photos of a completely different hotel. It was filthy, unhygienic, dangerous and very very loud! Awful!

old run down rooms.
located near nothing.
they charge 24 pound for a water i can get for 4 pound.
flamingos locked up in cages with lights on 24hrs.
staff are slow and lazy, when we asked where our room was the pointed.
they show a low cost on the menu then add 12% tax and 12-15% service charge but its written so small you would notice.
ac in rooms are not good and really noisy.
they shut the pool really early.

As previous reviews have said, the gardens are beautiful. The complex is very large. The rooms are big and spacious, but somewhat tired. The dining room had a good selection of food. It's quite far from the international airport....but very close to the pyramids and Sphinx.

The hotel is close to the pyramids and the sphinx and is set in a beautiful garden. It's more like a resort than a hotel. It has a swimming pool, playgrounds for the kids and a tennis court. The only downside is that wifi isn't free.

This hotel is along a major highway and you cannot walk to anything. It has very nice grounds. The rooms are dated with old tube TVs that hardly work. They charge for the intenet and it is slow. They have a large party area with a band stand which was 15 feet from my room. They had a band playing very load Arabic music that shook the windows in my room, that went on til 3am. I had to change rooms. The hotel has very large grounds. It can take 10 minutes to walk to the buffet. The pool closes at 5pm. The prices of food and drinks is very reasonable, a pizza for about $6 and a beer for $3. All the places have security stops. They x ray everything before you can enter. The staff is very helpful and polite
