Ocean view is a lovely and modern boutique hotel right in front of the ocean and the famous Pier of Santa Monica. Two steps from Third Street Promenade the heart of Santa Monica full of shops restaurants and etc. All is clean and Staff is all polite and helpful. Just two things : no restaurant inside means no breakfast and parking price is expensive 35 $ daily but I have been in Santa Barbara Malibu and around LA and everywhere the parking price are crazy! About breakfast or eat stuff no worries there is everthing around there about parking no hope to spend less than 10 $ in LA and surroundings! Definitely I suggest it.

Lovely location close to the ocean and Santa Monica pier and beach
Hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Our room had all that we needed and the extra large king size bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by and if you get home sick for English food visit the Kings Head around the corner. Our one criticism would be that there was no bar in the hotel.

Clean, comfortable and central. This was a fabulous hotel to stretch out before the long trip home to Australia. It’s bright, airy and unpretentious. Reception is a quiet affair, and staff have time to assist as needed. Cool water and lollipops are on offer in the pretty, uncluttered and airy lobby.
We had a double room and while it becomes a bit squeeze with suitcases, it is very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows are the small square style which don’t provide the right level of support or comfort while sleeping. The air conditioner worked well and not too noisy. The walk-in shower was perfect, much safer than climbing into a bath.
Location is perfect - This is walking distance to beach, the Pier, the Promenade shopping district, and some amazing restaurants. The Hop On Hop Off bus is about 2 minutes walk if you want to see the sights through to Hollywood, or perhaps stop at Rodeo Drive for a must look, but you will hear some interesting facts along the way. The reception will help you plan your day if you don’t have a starting point.
There is parking at the hotel but I am not sure if it is free.
This location is magical for sunsets 🌅. Each night we would head across the road to watch the myriad of colours wash over the palette of the evening sky. Quite beautiful. Sunsets are fairly quick so watch the time if this is how you want to end your day.
Highly recommend this hotel.

Very well located, great service, everything went very well. Clean room, no view if you get a room facing east. Only thing is it was a little noisy, since construction is rather light and could hear people talking in the hallway. Other than that, I would say its a great choice for Santa Monica (if you are willing to pay above US$250-300/night).

Stayed here for the first two nights of our trip to the US. Taxi from the airport to hotel was 60 dollars. Had a garden facing room - on the small side but in line with expectations for a hotel proximate to the sea. Great bathroom. No issues with noise. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is great - a 5 minute walk to the pier/beach or into the main shopping area of Santa Monica. I felt the room was on the expensive side (and watch out for the extra taxes in any quotes you get for this place) but then we found most everything expensive this time around in the US. All in all, nothing to complain about and this is a solid and good choice for a central Santa Monica hotel.
