A pleasant hotel with good service and strong wifi connection from the room, although ours only had a partial ocean view. Breakfast was of an acceptable standard.
I would have preferred non-fluorescent lighting in the bathroom.
15mins walk from the centro historico.

Noisy. Guests next door checked in later in the evening, and opened the door adjoining our room. I thought they were in our room. Everyone next door and in the halls sounds like they are in our room !
I was not made aware of free shuttle to town center.
Desk clerk advised us of great restaurant, marganza. And gave us times to visit other events in walled town.
I would come back to stay.

The hotel Ocean View is conveniently located in front of the sea, and not far form old downtown. The staff is very kind and always helpful, mainly people at the front desk. We had a great long weekend visiting several places (old downtown, archeological sites and the beach nearby), so the hotel was a perfect base-camp for this.

The hotel is across the street from the Malecon. If you have reason to stay outside of the historic district then this is a nice option. Rooms are spacious and inexpensive. Breakfast is included and is adequate, filling and includes several varieties of fresh fruit in season, eggs, cold and hot cereal and pan dulce as well as toast. The hotel is located about a half hour walk from the center of town although cab or van can get you there much quicker. Cabs run about 35 to 45 pesos so this option is quite cheap if you don't feel like walking. Our room had a nice view of Campeche Bay and air conditioning that worked really well. It also had a king and queen bed which worked well for two guys on a fishing trip. The front desk staff is very helpful

Just got back from a weekend trip,
Great value , breakfast included is good , clean areas, staff super friendly
Location is good almost everything is walking distance,
Good restaurants close by,
Just a bit noisy in the corridors of hotel early in the morning
I will stay there again for sure
I think you have free shuttle included from airport, check web site.
