It was owned by an English lady until 1942 when it was bought by the present owners family who have held it now for three generations. <br/> <br/>The hotel comprises the heritage wing as well as a modern new wing with Swiss chalet style architecture with a pronounced sloping roof, sun deck and viewing gallery with plenty of natural light and excellent views of the Kanchenjunga and Sandakphu ranges.
