Small Hotel with BIG HEARTS

When we arrived with out reservation, staff accommodated us to for 2 nights.. The room is big with patio overlooking the street.. The room is clean and comfortable.The area very quiet.The price is affordable.The hotel is walking distance to the beach and to the old city.Breakfast is free and so much food.We have to leave early the following day, we asked for taxi,the owner was willing to drive us to the bus station and he even gave us breakfast to go. Excellent staff

This was the best thing in Budva. Cozy family hotel, nice owner, smiling staff. Rooms nice, not to big, and not to modern. Hotel is 10 minutes by foot away from the beach and all the restaurants and bars. But the most amazing thing here is breakfast. I slept in lot of hotels, but never seen breakfast like this. The terrace under olive and lemon trees is perfect. Then, real turkish coffee!!! Eggs, sausages, vegetables, all kinds of bread, even pasta!! Fruit- never seen all that fruit in the supermarket!! Cakes, even quail eggs. :) little Eden garden among all those huge luxury hotels and golden gates. If I will have a chance- I will stay here again!

Good enough for a holiday destination

The hotel is just few minutes walk from the old city. However, the walk from the hotel is through all Budvas spots, bars, street food, street shops etc etc
The hotel itself is similar to a Bed and Breakfast, however 1. Very clean, 2. All amenities (shampoo, hairdryer, mini fridge with drinks) 3. Excellent breakfast and 4. Staff extremely good, polite and professional. First day we missed the breakfast and they prepared for us what we wanted. Bed was comfortable and good value for money overall. Also the street was not noisy.

2 Nights in Budva

We were after clean, comfortable on a moderate budget. We weren't expecting 4/5* amenities or perks. I think it's fair to say that the room was basic and the bathroom was below what I would call 'decent standard'. The staff were pleasant and tried to engage in conversation which was a positive.

I was underwhelmed at breakfast and I do not consider myself to be a fussy eater or miserable diner.

There was a sad and strange situation where a group of people mourning a death of a recent loved one were sat in the hotel's dining area and I didn't know how to conduct myself appropriately as I was in holiday mode but clearly wanted to be considerate and respectful also.

I very rarely write reviews because I can't usually be bothered. However, our one week stay at this hotel was so nice I feel compelled to do so. Firstly our greeting when we arrived fully met the meaning of the word "Welcome". It was not overdone or overly polished and professional, but felt like a genuinely friendly welcome by the owner. We were half board, so we ate every night in the hotel. On the first night the waiting staff were so easy going and friendly - and highly efficient - that we thought it would slacken off after a few days. But no. Every evening we felt we were treated like 'special guests', rather than just another two customers. The room was not the biggest we've stayed in. But it was very clean, and the room service kept it that way - every day. The kind of food served at breakfast and dinner was not the usual "international fare". It was Balkan style, and was of a 'fair standard'. We both enjoyed the food most nights. The salads, in particular, were excellent. The desserts were - at best - lacklustre, but in my experience there's no particular tradition of high quality puddings in this area of Europe anyway.
We have travelled all over the world, and have stayed at very many hotels, from 2 star to 6 star. I would rate this hotel as easily one of the best experiences we have had. This was primarily due to the genuine friendliness and hard work of the owner and staff.
