First night we got there with our kids your of travelling at 1am local time to find out that there was no room booked but the friendly gentleman said not worry just leave your passports and we can get you a room for the night and sort it all out in the morning gave us all a bottle it water and took us to are room.
All that was sorted out along with couple of issues with aircon the next day.
The maid service work extremely hard and ling hour and need extra help!!!
The pools are very well planed out and clean and my kids loved it with the toddler bit with the slide so both kids could play and the bigger side next to it so my eldest could actually go for a swim and my youngest could come in with me or with, the other pool we only went in once or twice as the toddler bit was a bit small and it was more for adults the in the water but it very clean also.
Food was brilliant... ok some nights there wasn't much I liked but there was lots to choose from and the staff are only happy to help in anyway they can.
The bar manager was great and great the kids.
The manager of the hotel was only to happy to help and always seemed be around it didn't matter where you was it was like there was 20 of him.
The best and I mean the best was the ANIMATION TEAM they turned my mooded 8 year girl who acts like a 15 year old whos too cool to dance, smile or talk back into the 8 year old singing and dancing. When we first got there Andrea came over and introduced himself and leaned our names and my little girl didn't want to know then they wanted them to go and play football tennis but she didn't want to so little man didn't (he copies everything she does) then we went to the night time mini disco and we had tell her if she didn't dance them we would. after that night all they wanted to do was go and join playing water polo and volleyball they even got me and my wife up nearly every and got us playing waterpong one afternoon.
We did go out 4 out of the 7 day's so we didn't take in half of what they do and by the end of the my little girl was bff with Lehia and little boy liked Chrys best but could really choose from Giulia Andrea Chrys and Lehia.
They guys work really hard and there's no technology, no special things just them and kids (also adults) having amazing time.
Thank you
What more can you ask for?!

My fiance and I took our 9 week old on his first holiday to the Olive garden hotel, all inclusive.
It was very reasonably priced and the photos looked good so we booked it last minute.
We had a few quibbles with the hotel on arrival -
- there was no kettle in the room (which we needed for baby) and it stated on booking there would be.
- the pool bar in the family complex was not open
-the WiFi was very poor (non existent)
However i like to think a sign of a good hotel and management is when these issues are addressed properly..and quickly. And that's exactly what the Olive garden did!
A kettle was put in our room before we returned back to it on the first day. The pool bar was open and manned 2 days after we arrived AND the WiFi was fixed (new network) before we left.
The hotel is under new management as you will have read and I think before jumping on the bandwagon and judging the problems give the Olive garden and the new manager a chance to put everything right.
We had a great holiday. The food was great (despite some complaints from fellow travellers) .. every day it's true there would be some of the same items..as you would expect from a buffet style meal surely?!however there was also a different freshly cooked to order meal each day. Such as pancakes in the morning, in the eve: salmon pasta dishes, lamb shank, kebabs, pizza, mussels etc.
We also had enough to eat and found the food to be appealing.
The evening entertainment was great for kids. And the hotel had a fantastic Greek night with traditional dancing and music.
Oh - i must mention that the pools were extremely clean and in fantastic condition! And the staff were all friendly and helpful.
The manager is friendly - always willing to listen to any problems you may have and quick to resolve them. He is a very visible presence in the hotel- not hiding behind some desk somehwere!! He actually cares what you think and wants you to have an enjoyable time.
In summary - if you want to pay a very reasonable price for an all inclusive hotel then look no further.
Fantastic time

My girlfriend and I just got back from Olive Garden hotel and had such an amazing time. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area near Lardos town right next to the beach. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was plentiful with a daily Greek option. I would suggest if staying for a week to go and try the local restaurants which are 5/10 mins away from hotel by car and really reasonably priced. Pefkos has a great selection of cocktail bars and restaurants and just gives you a chance to get out. The pool is fantastic after sitting in the hot sun and the bar is staffed all day and has a good selection of drinks and staff are great( try beer with lime) . The animation team work hard all day providing games and entertainment. This is not mandatory but getting involved gives you a chance to meet new people which makes the whole trip even better. The evening entertainment is not to be taken seriously it's about getting involved and just being able to laugh at yourself and I really enjoyed it again they are designed to break the ice with other guests to share your experiences and they do a great job of it. Made some great new friends at this hotel. Thanks for everything.
Not what they advertise. Butlins abroad.

do not go hear unless with a family and enjoy 90s Butlins abroad.
I travelled with my partner on the assumption that we were going to get a nice week long break being able to relax by the pool. As this was how the hotel was perceived through its website; we were very shocked by what we found..
From 10am onwards the bar blasts out the same 10 songs on loop all day, everyday. even trying to have a conversation with someone sitting next to you is impossible as the music is that loud. At night is even worse; they close the smaller, more pleasant bar at 6pm so you have to go by the main one. there you are faced with the same 10 songs on loop as well as these cheesy 'shows' shows by the animation team. even they admitted after that they were shocked to receive any laughs. its ridiculous; to stay at the hotel at night you have to sit through these painful evenings. even going to our rooms was pointless because the loud music drowned out the TV.
All of this would have been okay were they to provide you with nice food. the only meal we thought acceptable was the breakfast. the lunch was the same every day... spaghetti, mince, chips, chicken and pork. every day. without fail. sure that's a good slection however that's what is was every single day of our stay. for dinner too. although sometimes there would be surprise addition everyday, but that wasn't anything to write home about.
we booked an all inclusive holiday and ended up having to spend 5 of the 7 nights away from the hotel. the only saving grace was that pefkos and lardos were a short taxi ride away where we found the nights and food we were hoping for.
Lovely holiday

My husband and our 7 year old daughter stayed here from 30th May 2017 for a week.
The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. Mary on reception is helpful, friendly and sorts out any queries/jobs asap, all with a gorgeous smile. The main pool bar was open from 11.00am - 11.00pm and bar men, Gianni and Emil, were super friendly and very efficient, even though sometimes working alone with no break and quite a few people to serve all at once.
Our room in the family block (707) was spacious, TV, Aircon and Safe all at no extra cost. Two double beds, spotlessly clean, maid service fantastic.
The "Animation Team", Andreas, Julia, Elena and Chris were the highlight of our holiday. At first we thought they were a little overwhelming, but their energy, friendliness and passion for their jobs is infectious. They work tirelessly to entertain holiday makers and their children. My daughter did not want to leave them and had her photo taken with all of them before we left. This team work so hard from dawn till dusk, they deserve a medal.
Pool area very clean, always able to get a sunbed, no matter what time of day. And OK yes, plastic glasses are used but not much of hindrance when the safety of children and babies are the reason.
The village of Lardos is a 20 minute walk away and is very quaint. The people are very friendly and also there are some fantastic restaurants, especially Roulas. There are two particular bars that are great, "Yammas" and "Memories".
Food - All Inclusive. OK yes, some items ran out and you had to wait a while for replenishment but hey, chill you're on holiday. Always chicken, fish or pork to choose from. Always a pasta dish on offer, and the Greek corner every night and always lovely salads. My seven year old daughter was hard to please food wise but she always is.
The other bars, one in reception and one near family lock pool, were not open for the whole of our stay but opened on 5th June so maybe the season start dates vary in Greece.
Would definitely stay again.
