A quiet weekend away from London for me and my fiancé. We had a voucher for 1nights stay with dinner, bought for us from a family member. We were allowed to upgrade our room and meal choice for a small fee as we wanted a room with sea view and to go off the A la carte menu. This was well worth it as our bedroom was very big and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sunrise to wake up to.
Our dinner was outstanding as was our breakfast.
Bedroom = 5star
Staff = 5star
Food = 5star
Hotel decor = 5star
Highly recommended.

Very pleasant afternoon. Good service. Perhaps too many cakes. Could have been more sandwiches. We weren't offered a take home bag for the cakes we left. Comfortable lounge. Location difficult to find down narrow street.

Chose this venue for 70th birthday family mea outl as the place is a bit more special . Very much enjoyed the ambience of Orestone Manor with room enough for pre meal drinks in separate room where meal choice is taken before going through to restaurant area . All with good and polite service from staff. Ambience special . Extensive wine list and doesn’t need to be too expensive . Country house atmosphere .
Quality “nouvelle cuisine” presentation . Our family group chose, amongst other things , venison(excellent) and fillet steak (preceded by pate and scallop starters) . Dessert to
follow . A brief mention, when telephone booking , of the fact that this was a 70th was taken on board as we had a nice table, card from the staff, Birthday greetings written in chocolate and a “Happy Birthday” rendition ( I know not everyone wants that ! ). But all little things that somebody at Orestone has thought about .
£200 bill (inc drinks) for 4 is about what you’d expect for a place that’s a cut above the rest .

Fantastic hotel very friendly staff, made us very welcome, beautiful room, great location, food was stunning.
We had a specialty suite with private hot tub
Nothing was too much trouble
My daughter is only 10 and she thoroughly enjoyed being asked what she’d done during the day. She was given information on the Hotel and it’s history.
Will definitely be back! Thank you for helping us make some lovely memories in a part of the country we’d never visited before.
