I stayed here for 5 nights for business - its not really a tourist hotel. The rooms and public areas are a bit shabby and showing their age. Everything works Ok and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
Its right in the centre of town and was the best option for my business to minimise travel time. I would stay again.

A very elegant hotel in the heart of city.
They have marine walkway just in yard of the hotel.
Lot of eateries and shops within 2 minutes walk from hotel.
Rooms are nice, though compact.
Ambiance is nice. Breakfast spread was great and yummy.
The staff was very helpful and polite.
Could not find any flaw.

The location of the Hotel is Perfect !!!. Bang on the Marine drive, adjacent to the Walk way. But the Taj experience was Missing. The Rooms are small & the property is showing its age. The service, hospitality, the behavior of staff are at par with any 5 star property. The Breakfast spread was also nice in terms of variety and taste, including the live counters. The complimentary sunset cruise of 45 min-01 hour duration was a pleasant surprise, conducted on a motorboat having 02 decks with capacity of 30-40 people. I would prefer to stay at Vivanta by Taj on my next trip to kochi.

A beautiful property indeed!!
We stayed there for a night on 22nd September enroute to Munnar and must say it was a memorable stay at the property. Their complimentary cruise ride is magical!!
We much appreciated the warm gesture shown to us by upgrading our room. Our 8 year old son had a great time too with the kids friendly staffs. Food was excellent, had a sumptuous breakfast!!

This is a small version of Taj hotels, decorated exactly like the big ones. Rooms are a nice size, beautifully appointed and the bed is super comfortable. The hotel is right on the boardwalk, so there is access to a lot of shops and snack foods.
