We usually to booking in this hotel for long term. The location is good, very close of it you can find a lot of restaurants and supermarket. The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast is ok.
Staff and service are lovely and helpfully.
Price and quality are good .
To be back and suggesting.
Situated on the AD Cornice, just across it, there is a public beach .
The new lobby is fine.

With my boy and an old friend, I spent 3 nights in this 4 stars hotel of Abu Dhabi - between 9th-11h of February 2017.
We have visited together, for the first time, UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as tourists...
Hotel’s ckeck-in and check-out processes were effective, quick and correct. Our rooms – huge, clean, comfortable and well maintained. But…
- the Front desk receptionist distributed us, without proposing alternatives, in 2 rooms - one located at 11-th floor and another one located at 8-th floor (!)
- the card controlled elevator was set to transport people only from ground floor to floor recorded on the card or to 16-th floor (with breakfast rooms and swimming pool) - thus, it was not possible to take the elevator from one to another floor of our 2 rooms
- no ELECTRICAL ADAPTER for UAE's electrical outlets (according to 4 pins British model) to European 2-3 pins connectors (for 220-250V) of our electrical devices (power supply, laptop, chargers..) was provided by front desk. No room’s electrical outlet (according to 4 pins British model) was adapted to simply allow the connection of European 2-3 pins connectors (for 220-250V)
- hotel’s swimming pool was only 1,30m deep and small sized
- no swimmer’ clothing was provided
- the air conditionner control panel of our rooms was not properly inscribed (mainly in respect to ON-OFF positions of controller)
- the food offered for breakfast was quite the same, every day.
- the breakfast (high) price was not included in the room’s (high) price
The quality of lightening, beds and bath rooms was more than satisfactory...
Wi-Fi connection/ speed and variety of TV programs were also satisfactory.
Briefly, this well-located and nice hotel is providing a low quality-price ratio and do not deserve its 4 stars!!…

The Oryx hotel is great.
Been there three times each time was good. One of my trips I got a complimentary upgrade to a really good room.
The Wifi is fast. Rooftop pool is clean and looked after. The breakfast is all round good. The rooms are clean and decent.
The location on the other hand is one of the best I've been to so far in Abu Dhabi.
A shopping store real close, a pharmacy in case your getting sick, lots of different restaurants from breakfast to dinner.
Walking distance to the beach and everything is really close by. For a young couple like us it was great and most welcomed.
I will book again with this hotel as each time I've been there it has been good.
Really friendly staff and professional.

Stayed for Eid holiday with my family and it was indeed a great stay. The hotel rooms are very big and comfortable also the staffs are very friendly, helpful and very accommodating for our requests specially Ms Eva at the reception. The hotel is a very good choice for a family to stay as it is a descent. The breakfast buffet is amazing too! Thank you Oryx hotel and all your staff.

I have stayed at Oryx during a short business trip and I was satisfied with their services. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are especially big with an extra shower cabin. Buffet breakfast was included in the price and I found their selection of food tasty and satysfying. The hotel staff are polite and helpful. Their swimming pool is small and have not had a chance to try it, but it looked decent enough. With colleagues we also choose Oryx for a business lunch. I ordered a grilled halibut, which was very fresh and tasty. Overall, I would say that the best thing about the hotel is the location. Also, keep in mind that this is a business hotel for leisure you may choose one with larger pool facilities. I think I will stay here again in September.
