The hotel is situated in the eastern part of Copenhagen, close to the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Castle, the Opera, Kongens Nytorv and the pedestrian street. Within walking distance you will find lakes, parks, cafes and good shopping opportunities. Osterport Station is located across the street offering excellent transport links to the Central train station, North Zealand and Helsingor, as well as the airport.
All rooms are in excellent condition and of medium size with either Scandinavian wood floors or carpet. The bathrooms are in good condition. The Quad rooms consist of a double bed and a bunk bed.
This is a modern building.
The lobby is split-level and is medium in size. There is, however, an adjoining seating area on the lower level. The lobby is in modern Scandinavian designer style.
The restaurant is located below reception and is brightly lit and welcoming in modern design.

Above the options go from average to very good - I would say this place is inbetween (ie good). Obviously being by the railway is a slight issue but didn't really bother me.
Was given a room very very far from reception after initially being given a room without a key card slot which was odd.
Room was very warm, shower was good. Price is good value.
Reception is cool and there is a good selection of food and drinks available.
Decent location.

Train station is very close, we did not find the noise of the trains a problem when sleeping. Perfect for getting to places of interest out of the city and the airport. Good local bus services.being outside the hotel also.

Hotel Osterport is very situated, next to train station. The metro does not reach here, but the trains, busses and metro use the same tickets, and the metro is one stop away at Norreport. The buses also stop right outside the hotel, as do taxis, so it is very easy to get anywhere in Copenhagen from there. The hotel is not grand, the rooms a little small by American standards, but it is clean and has all the basic amenities needed. The front desk are very helpful, and it doubles as the bar. Overall a good non-fancy hotel.

Superb location, full service location, walking distance to the center, public transportation (local and international train services),at your doorstep and well informed staff. Quality pricing excellent. Rooms well kept and roomy.

Perfect hotel location with comfortable beds, spacious guest-room and ample sized bathroom.
Close to the Subway for the commuter or a leisurable 15 minute walk to Copenhagen center.
Free WiFi and a good breakfast buffet.
