A small gathering for my dads early birthday celebrations.
Food was fantastic beef was the best I’ve tasted on a Sunday roast.
Service was a little show however the staff are very friendly and interacted with the kids very well.
Would go back again.

What can I say lovely day with treatments and very friendly staff and knowledgeable about treatments and health issues
One thing I would suggest is just arrive maybe 15 minuets before as reception can been a little busy
Will definitely be back thank you feeling very relaxed

Just arrived home from a 1 night stay with 7 girls.. a hen night..
Fabulous service, rooms nicely equipped, food absolutely wonderful- very impressed in fact..
spa treatment with Anna was fabulous..
one small down side.. terrible, and i stress the word terrible- pornstar martini.. do not go there... and £15 each!!
Other than that lovely time and would definitely return.

Stayed on business trip. What a fantastic hotel, very grand and very relaxing. Food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for me. I was welcomed with the warmth that deserves the grandeur of such a fantastic hotel. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Well worth another trip, but will take my partner next time

As soon as we arrived at this grand looking hotel we were welcomed by an assistant butler who took our luggage, and we then checlked in. All facilities we pointed out to us by the porter who them brought luggage to room on 1st floor about 20 steps from the spa. Excellent big room with separate door to bathroom and wardrobe. I might add the approach to the hotel is fantastic as are the grounds and the golf course. Back to the the hotel the decor is very tasteful in keeping with the property nothing to ostentatious. The bar prices are a little on the expensive side and perhaps we should have walked to the claret jug on the golf course in hind sight or the 3 horseshoes down the road for cheaper. Both nights we had meals in the Calverley restaurant, the staff were very attentive and as 2 of our party had dietary reqts they explained the choices they had to offer them no rush at all. Food was excellent both nights as was the service.Used the well equipped gym Saturday, the pool looked fabulous but a little dark. Saturday reception booked us taxis in to Leeds at a cost of £12 each way exceptional value as traffic was heavy. All in all would highly recommend certainly the best Q HOTEL we have stayed in . As there had been a burst water main in the village on Saturday which affected the hotel (not their fault) we were treated to a glass of champagne at breakfast a lovely touch , they did not have to do that.We even had a history lesson on the hall from Kamir who has been there 24 years (this tells you .something) and if you need any advice seek him out
