We just stayed at the outrigger resort Burleigh heads. The outside of the building looks a bIt dated but I have to say we were all pleasantly surprised inside. The rooms were clean and plenty of space.
We had a rear facing unit so I can only attest to that, but it was quiet for sleeping and the room was really comfortable. I guess the best thing about it was the proximity to everything. Walking distance to it all. The hosts were courteous and we all enjoyed our stay.
I'd stay here again.

Very friendly owners and staff, Rooms are varied and our first room in the middle facing the sea was fab.
We returned to the hotel after a trip down to Sydney and although the room we had was fine, it was on the end of the building and suffered severe traffic noise from 7am onwards until early evening.
Would definitely return to this well priced and conveniently located hotel. Making sure that we had a room in the middle.

I booked direct for an overnight stay and got a great deal. I was worried about noise issues as we were on the ground floor facing the highway but our room was quiet enough. I really loved the 2 door fridge in our room as it had a proper freezer which fitted quite a few things. Decor & bedding nice, bathroom a little old but better than some more expensive places that I've stayed in. Carpet could do with an upgrade. Management is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shops etc.

Loved this place. Huge room & decent size bathroom. White marble look flooring throughout. We asked for a rear room so we weren't by the highway. Our room was quiet & we could get a glimpse of the water between two neighbouring buildings from our balcony. We were only there for 1 night so the view wasn't an issue. Our only issue was there is no restaurant or room service here & the shower was over the bath. Not sure if this is the same in all room.

Room was quite good in size, nice bathroom and comfortable bed and pillows. Can smoke on balcony unfortunately as smell drifts into room from previous occupants. Located very close to Burleigh Surf Club, good food and a very easy walk around the corner. Undercover, secure parking was good. A few things could be done to improve the unit.
