The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. But it's absurd that one has to pay extra for a minimalistic breakfast when the rooms are so expensive to start with. And the wifi never worked in our room, which is indefensible in 2017. It's also really sad that the hotel doesn't have an open restaurant so that guests can eat a nice meal there. Even a tiny cup of coffee is charged extra.
If the wifi was good, breakfast was included and extras like a cup of coffee was free/included, I would have considered giving the hotel five stars. Because it has the potential of being a really nice and exciting place to stay in Cap d'Agde. But as it is now, the prime goal seems to be to milk every drop of cash out of the customers in exchange for a sub-par experience, instead of making sure that guests can feel comfortable there after having payed a high price for the room. Sad.

We are well travelled and stay have stayed in many quality hotels across the world... and simply wanted to give our positive of this hotel that appears, in our opinion, to get some pretty unfair reviews.
Firstly location, yes no see views and on quite a busy roundabout but it is a short walk to the beach and evening entertainment. The roof top sun deck is fabulous,clean, and comfortable.... the double sun beds are great and for broad minded adults the area can be pretty special even in the quieter month of June.
The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and efficient at all times with no complaints.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern.
For us this was a great base for us to experience Cap d'Arge and having seen the alternative hotels or apartments in the area then we would say that the Oz Inn is probably the best.

This recently renovated property is surrounded by ugly buildings of the late seventies without any seaview. It is located on a heavy traffic roundabout making the rooms very noisy. It lacks any sort of atmosphere and resembles more an airport hotel than a holiday resort.

This hotel is modern and in excellent condition. We (two couples) visited in late May so we were still in the "off" season. No air conditioning anywhere in the hotel and it was warm and humid so we had to have the windows open that allowed ZILLIONS of mosquitoes in! Yikes!! The pool was cold and the hot tubs were too cool to use.
If the hotel is open it should have at least a few things turned on (I know we weren't) like the AC, pool or hot tubs. The service was excellent (thanks Victoria) and the drinks strong but if you are open for business the hotel should be ready for guests!

We stayed at 'Oz' after our contract finished in Heliopolis. We had one night left before our flight so we decided to give it a go and it proved to be a very relaxing way to complete the holiday. It is pricy but it does offer comfort after a long period of self catering in the village. The roof top bar is a nice way to spend the afternoon with great views and good music along with pleasant service. The only downside is that nobody uses it on an evening and we were the only people there, which meant we did need to go out to get some atmosphere.
