We already visited the hotel for at least 5 times. Everything is always TOP!! Nice breakfast buffet, ski-jause, and dinner, nice rooms, and magnificent personel, nice welness. Price- quality this is a really good hotel. If I have to remark one negative point. The internet in the hotel can be better.

As if the Zillertal wasn't beautiful enough: hiking, biking and skiing trails. We didn't get to partake in the latter, since we went in the summer. The bonus is that's the offseason, which meant we got very reasonable rates; these included breakfast and dinner, plus an afternoon dessert. And the Achensee makes for a beautiful day trip (be advised: the water is very cold!).
What a find! Beautiful and clean rooms, wonderful service... the staff went out of their way when they found we were visiting from the US. And don't be surprised to hear their tales of coming to America, or to have their waitresses eager to practice their English on you. Bicycle rentals are free; you get your deposit back if you manage to bring them back in one piece (not a problem, the trails we took were quite easy, but there are some more difficult mountain trails for the adventurous).
The hotel also has a small pool (not very exciting) along with infrared booths and a dry sauna. But the highlight of these amenities is the roman steam room, complete with a tub of cold water on the side. What an experience!
If we have one complaint, it's that the dining room was a little on the warm side. But the food was delicious, and always came with wine. And, as I mentioned before, the service was attentive and very personable.
All in all, it was an experience we would both recommend to everyone!

This stay was awesome! the hotel is well maintained, in a modern wooden Tyrolean design. It offers a lot of facilities to it's guests and the staff takes care of all their needs. It is a generation by generation run family business and they take a good care of this pride. The best was a dining here, the half-board was such a good choice. The food is so delicious and tasty, choice just perfect, couldn't be any better. There is one recommendation though: bed mattress. It remembers a lot and needs to be replaced. Besides, it was just a perfect stay in Tyrolean! Highly recommended, indeed.

This is the perfect Hotel for a perfect stay. Very nice staff :-) The Hotel is close to all slopes and the gletcher Hintertux is one hour away by car. The Hotel has spa, sauna and outdoor heated pool.

Our stay at Hotel Pachmair was a short one and I was glad about it. It is a hotel that seems to cater for German and Dutch bus tours and not for the individual tourist. The complex is big and can look quite dated, such as the cafe, for which you get a voucher, entitling you to coffee and cake. The coffee was self serve and out of a huge container, there was no option to have anything else but filter coffee and the table cloth had lots of stains on it. The cake was average at the most and the lampshades were speckled with fly excrements. Yes, Uderns is a rural village, but there must be a way to keep the flies out of the Cafe. The room was ok and quite clean, although there was a large spider in a corner, including its delicate webbing and several other, smaller ones near the wardrobe. The bed was very comfy and the room was the most enjoyable thing about the stay, mostly because it was as far away as you could get on that floor from the stage. The hotel puts on a semi-tyrolean show each night, which is very loud and not traditional at all. Bear that in mind when booking a room and ask for one away from the stage as the loud umpta umpta beats can be heard far and wide.
The food was buffet style the evening we ate there and generally speaking the biggest disappointment. The salad buffet was good, a nice variety of different kinds of salads but no information what is in the bowls, what the dressings are made of etc. This lack of care and style continued at the mains, where, at the bbq, one was informed that the white filets were "grilled fish", but no information whatsoever what kind of fish etc. The other warm dishes were rather bland and overcooked and presentations was lacking too. It all made a very cheap impression on me which was further more strengthened when I had a look at the cheese board: Again, no information on the cheeses and they were all end- pieces, many just the rind, and that was before the guests had cut their helpings off.
I've stayed in many very nice 4* hotels before but never at one that had such a cheap feel about it.
