Tight in the hart of old Matera, with great view of the Sassi stays this lovely hotel.
We were guided to get to the hotel with a car very patiently by the guy from reception, who also drove our car to the parking at the inner courtyard.
Our double room was lovely, big, spotlessly clean, with lovely stone floating and great view to the Sassi.
Breakfast on the lovely first floor, was rich and delicious.
This was our best hotel in our Puglia tour, highly recommended!

An amazing location in Matera, with fabulous views from the room and seemingly every other place in the former mansion. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. It’s hard to envision another hotel in a place equaling the sights of the sassi from the bathtub. Wonderful breakfast

This hotel is in an amazing building with very friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. From the roof terrace you can get a fantastic view over Matera. It is well-located off the Piazza Duomo - though access is a bit tricky without directions. Private parking is available in the small courtyard (20€ a night).Staff were very helpful with suggestions for eating.

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel's location in the heart of Matera is perfect for exploring the town. We had to get out & walk a short distance from the duomo plaza in order to find it, but once arrived we loved picking this hotel. There is a beautiful terrace on top of the hotel with great views of the surrounding Stassi.

A real palazzo! It is like living in another era! The rooms are big full of antiques, the breakfast is served in a real masterpiece building! It is very central with very good personnel. Wifi was working well. Overall a dream stay!!!
