The concept of an inner ‘city’ rainforest full of bungalows has merit. Beautiful, leafy and tranquil.
Have a nice swim in their really nice pool and head back to your own personal villa for a chillax in the balmy climate. Sounds great until the neighbour sharing the same roof space of your verandah is a cronic chain smoker for two full days and nights.
The hotel is very well patronised and a room change is only possible when they actually have other spare rooms. Time after time we were met with the putrid smell of White Ox tobacco before we even got to our room. Sad as the idea is good but simple decency of minorities placed the hotel onto my ‘not to return list’.
NT smoking laws say something like ‘no smoking under cover.’ Somebody has to enforce it.

One night business trip in Darwin. Easy to locate, with excellent location for Main Street and close to water front. Pool wasn't available the night we were there, but they had opened up a soa villa for use, but we didn't check it out. Cold air con comfy bed, and good value for money

We found this to be a great little hotel, right in the heart of Darwin. Only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Great pool, helpful staff and if you book one of the self-contained units around the pool, they even provide a BBQ to use. Definitely staying again on our next trip to Darwin

...we only spent one night on our way South. It is a one story complex, with rather small sized rooms built around a courtyard of densely se so called „Villas“. These are duplex cottages. Somewhere in this courtyard there is a small swimming pool. Palm trees, tropical plants make it a pleasant enough place, however I shouldn‘t wish to be there when they are fully occupied. Stepping out of your room early morning, you‘ll have to watch out for broken glass from the night before. There‘s complementary coffee and tee in the room, and a small airconditioned room by the lobby where you can buy a breakfast. No poolside bar or restaurant available. For lunch or dining you have to walk outside the „resort“. Rooms are carpeted which I truly dislike, and there is this pungent smell of sanitizer. All in all OK for overnighting, but not for an enjoyable stay.

Great location friendly staff, the pool being out of action not so great. Half filled conditioner in the bathroom not great and the sound of the city boomed through the room on the Saturday night. Even though it has been recently renovated it still felt old.
