My buddy and I only stayed here for one night since we landed in La Paz really late at night and it was too late to check into our hostel. But it wasn't a bad stay at all the room was very basic but that's all we needed just for a night. But other then that I would require it if you are staying for a really short time. But I wouldn't require it if you are staying for a long period of time.
Very Disappointed

I booked this place specifically for 3 reasons.
1. Laundry services as I had finished the 4 day Inca trek the night before and needed to wash clothes.
2. The business centre as I need to print my tickets for my next trip.
3. The Wi-Fi.
Upon arrival we checked in and I asked for the details surrounding the laundry service. I was mumbled at and after forcing the issue I was told that laundry services arent really available "only sometimes not all the time." I was then given a map with 3 laundromats that i could go to. After walking to all 3 to find them all closed. I walked back and went into another hotel who helped me find one on the other side of town that was open.
After getting back from my laundry I asked for the business centre so I could print my tickets for the following morning. I was told there wqs no business centre. After showing the now new lobby attendant their own website saying they had a business center, did they open a room and then tell me the computer doesnt work. After going back and forth for 2 hours they eventually asked me to whatsapp the files to them and they would print them from the printer at the front desk. Something I asked if they could do originally and they said no!
The shower whilst was hot and welcoming, the shower head was broken and water went all over the bathroom, i had to clear everything out including the now soggy toilet paper, just to have my shower. The rooms are cold but the beds have plenty of blankets and the bed was comfy. The wi-fi worked and was decent and the room was ok, just very frustrated that they advertise things they dont actually have!
ok for the price

The room and the bed were comfortable, but the bathroom was very cold, and i had to go without hot water on my second nite!. It also took some time to get someone at the front desk who spoke english!. They also could use safety box's in the room's. I would not stay here again, or recommend to friend's.
Great possibilities unrealized

The best thing about this hotel is its location and price. But the owners don't seem to know that they are in the hospitality business.
Take internet, for example. They have routers on only 3 floors. My room was on the 2nd floor, and I had two bars from the lobby router. But after 3 days, that fell to one or none. When I complained, they offered to move me, but who wants to repack? In a city where every car of their aerial cable system has wifi, it shouldn't be a question.
Take breakfast, for example. Why is it that some days are mortadella days and other days are cheese days? Why can't they have some of each every day?
Take agua pura. They have a water dispenser in the breakfast room, but it is never filled. For that matter, why can't they have hot water in the coffee pot all day? So they can charge you for a small cup of hot water from the restaurant?
Take the rooms. The TVs are updated and carry a lot of channels. But where are you supposed to sit? On the bed? On the pseudo-wrought-iron chair (think garden furniture)? I'm sure that if I got rained in and had to spend a day there, I would have gone crazy. The rooms are unheated, and sometimes it gets cold, and you can ask for a space heater; the one they gave me was covered with dust and made more noise than heat. Also it takes up one of the 3 plugs in the room (with one already used by the night table light).
Take the hot water. At 7:30, it's fine. But at 6:30 it's not there at all. Although you do get the unexpected pleasure of having hot water arrive in the middle of your fourth consecutive cold shower.
This hotel might have been fine during the Banzer dictatorship. But for today, they need to do more.
Fine option, unless you are picky or have high U.S. standards

I recently spent 6 nights in this hotel. The things I liked about this hotel are:
Both rooms I stayed in were clean. The beds looked clean. The sheets and blankets were clean and in good shape. They brought up a heater when we asked for one the first night. We also had good wifi internet access in both our room and the lobby (It worked nearly all the time). It comes with breakfast which, while nothing special, was easily enough to fill up on. (If you want to get a really great breakfast, walk down a block or so to Alexander Coffee.) The hotel is also very centrally located. We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive.
Things to be aware of:
The TV did not have any English language programming. The towels, while they appeared quite bleached and clean, were also extremely worn. We did not have hot water one morning.
So if you're looking for a centrally located hotel that is decently priced and has good internet, and are willing to accept "normal" South American standards, this is a fine option. I would stay here again.
