staff were friendly enough, no fresh towels provided you have to ask for yourself but other than that everything was pretty ok - good for budget travelers who want their own room and privacy - not so good for people who want clean towels.

I really appreciate the location of this Resort. Beach Road is only about a five to 10 minute walk to the Cliff; the location of the main 'Tourism Hub'. For this reason, Panchavadi offers a peaceful and relaxing setting away from all the tourists and noise. The room, towels and sheets were all clean.
Everything you need is located in very close proximity. Great local Restaurants, general stores the Beach and even the Bus stop.
The owner and staff are exceptional. Friendly and helpful. I could leave my luggage there while I went traveling elsewhere in India. I was even granted a later check-out by one or two hours at no extra charge. Greed is definitely not evident in these people.

This is an average budget hotel. It is located very near to the papanasam beach, around 100mtrs, 5 mins of walk. 4kms from the railway station.
The hotel is quiet good, a calm silent hotel. The rooms are clean and are spacious too. Wifi had good speed.
There is no food available in the hotel. You have to go out for food.
Mr.Babu, the care-taker of the hotel was very polite and helpful also. Overall it was a pleasant stay

There are a number of things in need of change regarding the description of this property. Firstly, it’s location in what is called ‘Silent Valley’. Set just off Beach Road, the noise from road traffic from early morning until night is amazing. It seems mandatory for drivers and bike riders to persistently honk their horns on the way to the beach, a special place for Hindus to take part in ceremonies. Before daylight, powerful fire crackers are set off from the sacred temple just along the road.
Some facilities listed at the hotel on some websites are misleading, such as tour desk, money exchange and rooftop garden. One gentleman on the management team can suggest places of interest and arrange transport, but beyond that there isn’t any published information. Neither is there a dedicated money exchange department. The rooftop garden is a covered concrete area with a few swing chairs, hammocks and washing lines. Not a particularly pleasant area to relax in.
Security also caused me some concern. Described as 24 hour reception, the desk isn’t manned. Although a staff member is somewhere on the premises, anyone could help themselves to room keys from behind the desk. On one occasion the room cleaner left my key on the outside of the unlocked door.

It was a very pleasant stay in the resort. Staffs are very cooperative and helpful. Location is very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. With the help of its staffs we could get a bike on rent for visiting places around. One can have nice stay with family/friends.
