torejohnsen48on 30/09/2016 18:10Hotel up in the hillside, but easy to find. Extremely nice view in the morning. Fantastic terrasse for breakfast which was excellent. Clean and good beds - pillows not according to my needs - far too " fluffy/soft".
Breathtaking view
SteinOKon 27/07/2015 18:19We booked this via booking.com at ehat we at the time thaught was a good price. The rooms are extremly outdated, and you do not wish to use the shower - it is extremely small. On the positive side it has a lovely outdoor pool, and the breakfast was a positive surprise. And if you get a room with a view over the vally, that view will take yor breath.
Good deal with great view
Tangerieon 10/10/2013 20:52We were on the way back home and would like to spend one more night in Italy. We found this hotel offered very good price and booked without looking where it located. Then turn out it was around 5 km. away from Brixen, but we enjoyed it that it was not in the city. The view we had, and during the night, from the balcony, cannot ask for more at this price. The room is basic, clean, there was free wifi and also breakfast is included. There few parking space next to the hotel. The hotel also gave 2 free ticket for the Plose cable car to go up the mountain, it was fantastic, great view of the Dolomites, and many hiking trails that i can stroll my baby around, we loved it there so much then had to go there again the next day. For the check in, we didnt have any problem as it clearly mentioned that check in is 3 pm. We arrived earlier and found no one, so we walk around and came back to check in at 3, staff was there.

Amazing view overlooking Bressanone
Evan Thoreau Hon 12/08/2012 20:22We laughed because all the other reviews said this location is hard to find but that's just the half of it. Located about 5km up a windy mountain road from Brixen proper, the journey is worth the amazing view. Just keep going until you think you HAVE to turn around -- then go for five more minutes.
The views of the mountains are as amazing as advertised and the little town of St Andrea is quintessential northern Italy. There's only on restaurant in town at a neighboring hotel but luckily it's very good. The lift to Plowe mOuntain is a convenient 1km away.
Rooms are dated but clean and large. We stayed in the annex up the hill with gorgeous views. Just one recommendation: bring earplugs. The impressive granite church bell tower ring every 15 minutes -- day and night.
Didn't have the will to even use our reservation!
poseidonsailorson 29/01/2012 17:46I booked this hotel on line for our journey across Europe by car to Greece. We had been driving for 10 hours when we got to the hotel. At first we thought we were at the wrong hotel as all the shutters closed and no lights on. We checked the sign, our picture from the website and we were in the right place. Ringing the bell we got no answer. It took us over 45 minutes to raise someone. We'd been outside all this time in -5 degrees. The guy who showed us in just shrugged when we said we'd been waiting, buzzing the bell and calling for over 45 minutes. This was sadly the last straw. We cancelled our booking and checked into a lovely family run place down the hill. We were shocked at the attitude of this property.
