The location is beautiful on top of a citadel with wonderful 360 degree sea views, however this parador is not up to the usual high standards of this chain.It was the most expensive parador that we stayed in, but it was the worst in terms of standard of accommodation & quality of the food.

great location, lovely building, nice area to visit, amazing walks around the hotel grounds, close to the nearby town, but the hotel is in our opinion too big and not very inviting, its too clinical, just another standard hotel, not what we would expect from a Parador

One of the best Parador I have been in. The view from every side is breath taking. The inside of the Parador is very elegant, clean and have a touch of Nobel. The room is not big, but the scenery from the room minimize that. Service is friendly and very good.
Breakfast is OK, dinner is OK.

We enjoyed an excellent short stay at this superb hotel. Wonderfully located on the edge of the Atlantic ocean with breathtaking views from our room.
We were given a very friendly and informative welcome, and made to feel at home during our stay.
Would definitely recommend a visit and stay here.

We spent 2 nights before starting the Camino. Of the 7 paradors we have stayed in, this has the best setting and views of the ocean and bay. Meals were good and staff helpful. The room was a little old but adequate. Only a short walk to Baiona old town with many bars, cafes and seafood restaurants.
