The parador has the nicest views to the old town.
I would recommend to sleep there, although is it a bit far from the old town and you need a taxi to drive you there. But it gives you a whole new perspective of Toledo , the old heritage part all lit up at night from a distance. It was breathtaking !
We had a couple of drinks on the terraces before going to sleep really very memorable!

We didn’t arrive until about 7pm, nice welcome from the staff and booked for dinner later. Our room was on the second (top) floor and overlooked the hotels bar and Toledo, the views are amazing. The room was very large with a large modern bathroom. We had drinks on the terrace and then went to the restaurant, all the corridors and public rooms have various art works, statues, local artifacts it’s all very interesting and atmospheric. Nice big restaurant, plenty of staff and food was very good, we had a lovely meal, we chose local dishes to start and both had sea bass which was delicious and well presented. The hotel is very quiet at night as it’s some distance from the centre of town so do take that into consideration if you plan to visit the centre you should get a taxi. Breakfast the next day had a wide selection of hot and cold food, churros, fruit, pastries, again it was very good. We loved our visit and would definitely come back, this time for a couple of nights, I’ve even joined the Amigos de Paradores!

My husband and I met inToledo 40 years ago so this was an anniversary trip for us, plus our final stop before flying home so I wanted something special. The parador fulfilled all our requirements; spacious, comfortable room, fabulous wrap-around balcony with views to die for. We definitely got our money's worth with the view! (Ask for room 417 if you want the wrap around balcony) In addition, the breakfast each morning is absolutely outstanding, and again, you enjoy it with the view. Please note, the parador is on the hill overlooking the city, not in the city itself so you either have to take a taxi up and down the hill (7 -10 euros) or take the bus which runs once per hour. We did both... hint if you decide to try the bus. The stop is across the road from the parador, slightly downhill, at the front of the entry road to the hotel across the road...there is a vertical post that's easy to miss if you don't know where to look. We absolutely loved our stay at the parador!

Probably the best view of Toledo. Nice spacious comfotable rooms. Very clean too. My room had a nice balcony with two chairs and a table.
Bear in mind that you need a car/taxi to go to town. You cannot walk there. Would be too dangerous walking those narrow roads. The breakfast is ample and in the same room as the dinner in the evening. I found the quality of the food somewhat lacking. The first evening was okay but not very special. The second evening my starter had wilting lettuce and stale vegetables. The main meat dish was way too salty for my taste. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended this parador.

The Parador was fantastic and I may actually consider moving there permanently. The room was large and beautiful, the building was lovely and the view was fabulous. Although the pool was apparently "closed" for the year, the gentleman at the front desk handed me a pool towel so I swam anyway.
The staff was very accommodating of my terrible Spanish and helped me select local food from the menu. The breakfast buffet is the best ever.
