What People are saying

Clean hotel with comfortable beds

VGTravelGirlon 18/08/2016 18:23

The hotel was clean. It has a swimming pool (but it is not open in the evening). If you are trying to find the hotel, look for the "Pantheon" sign, which is brighter and clearer - they are the same place. We drove by a couple times and did not see the hotel sign. The buffet breakfast is good (although no boiled eggs) with breads, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. Cappuccino upon request. The beds were very comfortable and the front desk staff friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel for dinner, but there are lots of restaurants in the town centre just a few minutes drive from hotel.

three years in a row. the best

The management and staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the breakfast menu is great. Each morning we had fresh fruit with an assortment of bread, pastries, jams and cold cut platter.

This hotel was chosen because of previous ratings and suggested by AAA Travel. It was superior and great for a conferenc

Ease of booking. Staff very helpful. The menu in the restaurant had a lot of choices and the broiled shrimp with seasonings was delicious. The room had a balcony with table and chairs. Hotel able to handle conventions.

Very Clean, Pleasant & Accommodating!

We stayed at the Hotel Parco Serrone for 10 days while visiting family in Corato. The management and staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the breakfast menu is great. Each morning we had fresh fruit with an assortment of bread, pastries, jams and cold cut platter. We had dinner with our Corato families, so we didn't get a chance to eat dinner at the restaurant, but you can detect the aroma of good cooking coming from the restaurant. All in all this was a great place stay and the people are great too.

super friendly in an unattractive town

We have stayed at this hotel for more than two weeks of vacation time, mainly using it as a home-base to explore various parts of Puglia in day trips. While the town of Corrato is geographically well suited to do so, it actually has little to offer as a town, particularly with regard to choice of restaurants. In retrospect the nearby city of Trani may have been a better choice for our puposes. Our experience with the hotel has been mixed, but any fellow traveller should take into account the specific use we have made of this hotel.
Good points:
- Very (!) friendly staff. They have gone out of their way to make you feel welcome and to be helpful, although that was often limited by language barriers.
- Good breakfast.
- Nicely designed and maintained surroudings.
Mixed point:
- The pool was not heated, which for a quick cool-down on a very hot day actually is good, but for a real swim, particularly in the morning when it is not yet that hot, was less useful.
Not so good points:
- Many employees of the hotel (actually all but one) have very limited capability to speak any other language than Italian. This is a general problem for vacationers coming to Puglia, but unfortunately this hotel was not an exception.
- The promised free Wifi access in the rooms was highly inconsistent. When it did exist, it typically required to log in again every half hour.
- The promised gym was not accessible during our stay.
- The in-house restaurant also had very friendly staff but the dining room completely lacked atmosphere and the cooking was unimaginative for our taste.
