Great 2 night break!
taly_70ukon 27/09/2017 21:02We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel.
I had emailed in advance to ask for a celebratory cake to be put in the room for my friend leaving the country. They were very happy to oblige free of charge and also added a bottle of wine.
The decor etc was a little dated, but everything was very clean and tidy.
The heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna were a very welcome bonus after trekking up a very wet and windy Snowdon. The host even offered their boiler room to help dry our clothes and boots.
It's a short 5-10 minute very picturesque walk from the train station over a suspension bridge and farmers fields.
There was a lot of choice at breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly.
I would definitely recommend!
Big room & a pool

Our room was on the top floor, it was nice and large, maybe a little dated in decor but it was clean and comfortable. We were given instructions on how to get to the village via a public footpath - torches provided. It's a lovely walk only about 5-10 mins. In the morning we went for a swim in the heated pool - would stay here again just for that little luxury. Breakfast was ok, I expected the quality of the ingredients to be a little better which is why I'm giving a very good

Vron Hon 14/09/2017 08:47We stayed at the Park Hill for 1night when we visited the area to walk up Snowdon. It is about 30mins drive from there so much more convenient than driving from home. The b&b is situated outside the centre of the village but there is a footpath so you can walk in about 10mins to restsurants/pubs for an evening meal. We were welcomed warmly but not intrusively. The room was large and spotless, just could do with a little updating. The view of the Welsh hills was amazing. Breakfast was good although could be improved with fresh fruit(rather than tinned), fresh orange juice and perhaps a granary bread, but I'm being picky now! Overall, a clean, well run family guest house in a glorious location. Oh, and they have an indoor swimming pool too

BurrowsLJon 08/09/2017 17:11Had a lovely 2 night break for a special surprize for my better halfs birthday. What a lovely couple who go out of their way to accomodate your requests. Most definately worth a visit and we will most certainly stay again.
Friendly and welcoming
Santa Von 25/08/2017 12:59Had little getaway for to 2 night. Owner lady was very welcoming and answer all our questions about local place. Breakfast was healthy size. If you want to get full so you can't move not the place where to eat, but was perfect to start the day. I asked for almond milk for my coffee - they didn't have it but they went and get it straight after what was very nice. Will definitely go back there when visiting Snowdonia.
