Loved this hotel!

We loved loved loved this hotel. Was here for business and found our room to be one of the most tranquil and luxurious rooms ever. Also, incredibly state of the art - they have thought about every single thing that can make your trip easier including outlets that are U.S. compatible as well as all the buttons by one's bed to make your stay easier! The floor to ceiling windows made for an extraordinary view of the harbor too. I could stay at this hotel for weeks and be so happy!

Best hotel in Busan

This hotel far exceeds expectations for customer service and for the excellent property itself. This is my second time to stay here. Decent location. Located near beach. Concierge service was great. Front desk agent was slow but very kind. Breakfast buffet was good but could use more variety of dishes considering the price. Views were great. Lunch options were superb. Didn’t do dinner but I will next time. Room is very spacious. All amenities included. Shower was large. Did not have shaving cream or razor which was strange. Overall I highly recommend to all.

Fantastic. (Possibly not convenient to non-business travelers)

Hotel: This may be the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. I booked late and had to get a bit of a suite, so it wasn't cheap, but I had a sitting area wth table, couch, chairs, and access to a half bath. Floors were really nice hardwood, with a carved texture. Decor was tasteful and natural, so as not to disturb from the floor to ceiling windows with views of the marina and mountains.

From my bedroom, I had a corner view of the marina, a bay, a giant bridge, etc. It was the second best view I've ever had in a room I slept in (best, weirdly enough, was the birthing room at UCSF where my son was born -- we have like 270 degree view of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges).

Everything was beyond first class. Electric shades and blackout curtains, very nice furniture, super comfortable bed, and lots of nice touches, such as a chaise lounge in the bedroom perfectly situated for that corner view. Key for foreigners -- all the plugs take every outlet. Stuff just works.

Bathroom was giant with amenities galore (see my previous reviews of the Park Hyatt Seoul), a full soaking tub and a two headed shower.

Breakfast was solid, and the made to order eggs my colleagues got looked really good, but it wasn't quite as ridiculous in terms of selection as the Park Hyatt Seoul -- that may be one of the top hotel breakfast on earth, though.

Service was really good -- never an issue getting a cab, and everyone spoke English very well.

The only issue for you may be location. I took cabs to meetings and events and had no worries (cabs are dirt cheap in Korea and cab drivers are friendly -- they do drive like maniacs, but I appreciated that), but this isn't near the beach, like the Westin, so if you're here for fun... it may not be as convenient. Similarly while you could walk to restaurants and stuff, it's not exactly in a hopping pedestrian area. As a business traveler I barely noticed this, but when I visited my friend at the Westin for a drink I was like "if you were a family, you may want to stay here instead."

Anyway, to recap: super clean, super comfortable, great service, solid food. I paid too much (like SF prices) but I booked late as there was some confusion on my dates, but that's on me. This is a great hotel.

Sensational Hotel... sensory overload

I spent four nights at this very good hotel. The staff make the difference in a hotel experience for me and they were very professional, courteous and helpful. I was attending a small conference at the hotel. I also agree that the location is better suited to business travelers. However, the water views, the extreme building skyline and extraordinary vistas are worth spending a couple of nights there anyway. Great swimming pool. I had a corner suit which I can rate as one of the best hotel views I have experienced. The Australian hotel manager attended a few functions with us and was a great ambassador for the chain. The breakfast buffet and service is as good as it gets and is very popular with locals at weekends. Overall I recommend this hotel as a quiet sophisticated retreat in a very busy city.

Fantastic Hotel, Great Views

Stayed one night on a Korea Revisit Program. Hotel is one of the better hotels I have stayed in for many years, and I travel frequently. Took a while to figure out all of the neat features in the room. There is a TV screen flush mounted in the bathroom mirror. Stayed in an end room and it appeared to be larger than the other rooms on the floor--Room 1512. Breakfast buffet was very good with outstanding views and helpful staff. Had a very good luncheon (banquet) which was part of the Revisit Program with local dignitaries. Wished I could have stayed there 2-3 more nights.
