Modern, well kept and well positioned hotel. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Car parking is free to guests. Staff respond quickly to requests. Couldn’t fault it.

Very good hotel, rooms were big and comfortable, facilities were tea and coffee making, and water left daily. Restaurant was good and food we had plenty to choose from. If you wanted to eat out then as you are in the centre there were plenty of eating places within 5 minutes walk from hotel.
Only downside was sometimes hard to get a parking space after 6pm.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel for a weekend break.

Did a wee stop over to break my journey up, no reservation but that wasn't an issue. Happy days indeed, Adam at reception was especially helpful. Kudos to that chap he made an awkward Scotsman in Peterborough very welcome indeed.

This hotel is very conveniently located, being only a 3min walk to the pedestrianised centre of Peterborough.
15min to the Cathedral, which is well worth a visit, 25min walk to the Greyhound Stadium. It is also next door to the Museum, which again is well worth a visit.
The Hotel has good parking. The rooms are a good size, very clean with all the usual amenities.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
The buffet style breakfast is excellent value if pre booked the night before.
Should we visit Peterborough again we would definitely stay here.

We usually book Premier Inns as they are of a good standard, comfortable and with food & drink facilities either on the site or next door.
Knowing Peterborough we chose to try the Park Inn to stay this time as it is right next to the City Centre. Our only concern was that it is on a busy main road.
It has its own car park which was free (a fantastic bonus in a city-centre hotel at these prices) which is reached directly off the main road. The hotel gave a good first impression with a large, light and airy reception and open-plan bar / restaurant and a friendly welcome.
The room was on a par with Premier Inns and even though we had a room facing the main road, the noise was not intrusive with the windows open.
We paid extra for the breakfast both mornings and whilst the food was good, the ability of the staff to replace empty food trays could be slow, keeping you waiting and you had to order fried eggs which were brought to your table at some point whilst you were already eating the rest of your breakfast. The range of items available was also not as good as we have had at a Premier Inn. However, at no point did any of the food provided seem poor quality and it was all cooked well.
On leaving, we were asked by reception to give them a review and to mention any particular staff who stood out from the rest as they could get a bonus. I think that unfair as no hotel revolves around any one person and all the staff tried to make sure our stay was a pleasant one, so well done to all who looked after us on that weekend.
When we return for another weekend in that area we will certainly look to stay there again and I would recommend it to everyone for business or leisure.
