I went there with my husband and children. We stayed in an independent cottage for 3 nights. The resort is situated right next to the jungle. My kids had the time of there life as they were many games both outdoor and indoor. Swimming pool was very clean and hygienic which was a relief. The staff was courteous and very helpful. We went out for nature walks and bird watching. Food was good. The resort staff also arranged a jungle and elephant safari.
It was worth every penny, the food was also very reasonable. Would definitely like to go back again!
Into the Wild

Who doesn't love a good weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of a fast paced life in the city. If you're just looking to relax and take some time off from work, you should definitely visit this wild abode nestled admits the thick jungle in Dhela, Ramnagar.
Recommended by a friend, I made a short trip to this place and the visit has increased ever since. Once you finally make your way to the resort, you feel at home at once, thanks to the friendly staff. Gopal, who usually manages things around the resort is someone you can really rely on. He'll get you just about anything only if you'd ask. The cottages are the best part I feel, why you ask? Well, first of all its the 'cottage' feel that you get, not an ordinary hotel room; big and spacious, and secondly, the rooms don't have television sets and the cellular network is just on and off, so there's actually no way 'you can disturb yourself'.
What you can do instead is go for hikes into the jungle with one of the staff members, he'll take you around, or you can even go around the resort area, a small village. For Safaris you have to make prior bookings, what you see during the safari depends on your luck, might be a streak of tigers or even better, wild hens running around aimlessly and some spotted deer as bonus.
It has a pool and some indoor games for your recreation and even things like a bonfire can be arranged on demand if you're travelling with friends and family.
If you're someone who loves bird watching, love the sound of the birds chirping and star gazing, well there's no need to look any further. Head to this place next weekend, I'd say!!
Very good location for Corbett - stay / peaceful / ideal for ppl who want to do NOTHING

The main beauty is that each room is actually a cottage which means it is a separate dwelling unit with no sharing wall, you are almost living in a separate mini-villa here.
There is a mini-lawn shared by 2 rooms where you can sit and sip in tea or share drinks.
The resort has following pros -
1. Location is excellent, accessibility is very good.
2. Corbett safaris are easier to do from Dhela in general
3. Jungle feel in resort, cool and calm place
4. Resort itself is huge, best suited for people who go to read some book / stay only.
Cons, well they are lesser but more significant
1. Pool is poorly maintained.
2. Lobby / recreational area / restaurant are not centrally air-conditioned, it is severely missing and very much needed.
3. Upkeep needs to be taken to the next level for bathrooms / pool changing rooms/ common toilets / pool restrooms / recreational area.
For solving the cons, as told by staff, UK govt will charge more taxes and will push up the prices. I think the first two points are very much basic needs.
