We stayed here for one night. Room was spacious and it was clean also. Do not expect a lot from hotel management staff because they are little sluggish. Hotel location is pretty cool but it is a little bit far from main market (i.e dalai lama temple). Overall it was the nice stay except staff behavior.
Disgusting hotel

The only good thing about this hotel is its view , the staff is soo rude and arrogant , the services are horrible , the rooms are so messed up , the bed sheets and curtains are torn and not cleaned , never choose this hotel for your stay
Location very good but otherwise so-so.

The Dwelling place is at very good location facing the valley opening on the view of Dharmshala. On both sides green covered high mountain ridges. Vehicle parking space across the road opposite to the D.Palace. A.C. is not required as climate is very soothing.Though it has not been maintained as hotel concept but resembles as a small house with kitchen counter space. The front Desk counter is shabby the staff and manager dressed most of the time in casual wear. It does not house restaurant. It is very near to Tibet Buddha temple and Museum.
Comfortable room

The stay was good but the same facility can be availed at a cheaper rate in the city if you search. However, I would say it was a good hotel to stay. The most terrific thing was the view. The landscape infront of it was breathtaking. The staffs were very cooperative. But the hotel should be more comfortable as per the price.
Dhauladhar Range snow peak is just at hand away length :)

Hotel is real value for money (starts from Rs 650 ,as in peak season others are too costly). Homely environment and supportive staff, specially the manager (old uncle). The hotel is down the hill from The Dalai Lama Temple for around 5-7 minutes walking. It would be difficult for old person and child to walk on the steep road. The view from Hotel is awesome, if weather is clear, Dhauladhar Range is clearly visible from balcony and terrace. Room no.103,106,111 and 101 has front facing view of mountain range and lower Dhramsala.Have breakfast-paratha at makeshift dhaba just across the corner of hotel, its really tasty and cheap.
Tibetan Govt office and parliament is down the hill, you can walk down, approx 20-25min.Visit Dharamsala Stadium and Tea plantation located at lower city.
