I visited on 18th November 2017 with my wife n kid and found the property to be nice just by the sea. The restaurant by the name of Fishery serves good food and the service is quick.
We found the front desk staff to be very polite and helpful and showed us around the property while our room was getting ready.
I would have given 5 stars for this hotel but my experience with room service was not good. Apart from bad experience with room service everything was superb.
There was one trainee at the helpdesk(don't know his name) who was very helpful and got me warm water which room service could not provide in over 20 mins.
One suggestion to hotel management that please have room bells as sometimes if we are watching movie or listening to music we do not hear the knock on the doors.

We stayed at the Pegasus Reef Hotel on 27th October in a newly refurbished upper floor room.Everything was excellent from the moment we walked into the reception of the hotel, staff warmly welcome us and was very quick to complete the check in procedure. Room was spacious beautiful and with all necessary amenities.
Dinner,Breakfast and Lunch was on buffet and very delicious with wide array of choices.
Very friendly and courteous staff always willing to help the guests to make them happy.
Overall an excellent and enjoyable stay .Definitely we will come again.

Good stay...staff was good...singer at dinner time on 1st Nov.was very good..had a good time...food was alright but limited choice for vegitarians...breakfast was average...but over all good place..rooms good and comfortable.

A very nice arrival to Sri Lanka! 1 night stay at this quiet peaceful resort by the ocean. Beautiful garden, comfortable rooms. Very good for relaxing after the long flight, nothing disturbed our stay.Amazing food and staff! Extra: some beautiful wedding couple arrived and we enjoyed very much watching them :-)

Everything was excellent from the moment we walked into this hotel, we were met with such warmth and offered a welcome drink at the lobby and later we were ushered in to the room. Room was spacious and with all facilities.
Hotel buffet was great with wide array of dishes.
Surrounding was great with swimming pool with kids pool and large garden. Beach is very close not much clean though.
Staff are excellent, everyone so friendly, so welcoming and always trying their best make you happy.
Overall had a great time, great service, definitely a great hotel.
