Top of the Pen y Fan
wendyhealon 15/10/2017 22:01Stayed at the lovely Pen y Bryn guest house for one night with my husband. Was the base for our 'stroll' up the mountain. Lovely clean room with the most comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice. Gorgeous grounds & the nearest pub was a 2 min walk away. Lots of parking space & glorious views from the room. Highly recommended & we will be coming back. Thanks Anne x

Lovely but remote location
F9885WEdebramon 21/09/2017 20:32Stayed for five days Wednesday through Sunday. The owner was less than helpful in getting us acclimated to the area or the property. We did not see her at all during the week. In fact one night she left us alone and we were without heat until almost midnight. We did see her when other guests started to arrive on Friday and Saturday. The breakfast was typical cold cereal or English breakfast. No imagination as to selection. The grounds however are beautiful. Did not feel comfortable using the other rooms within the house

Alistair Fon 06/09/2017 14:13Beautiful house, large rooms and well appointed bedrooms. Superb breakfast too ! And only a few steps from the two pubs in the village for a good meal and pint. Cycling-friendly and some covered parking for the bikes. The four of us (riding the Taff trail) found it relaxing and a perfect place to rest our weary bones !

rosemary bon 13/08/2017 16:04this place was amazing,the gardens were lovely and plenty of seating areas to sit in the sun and relax.the vegetarian breakfast was very immpressive ,the cooked full welsh breakfast was good and the choices from the breakfast buffet were excellent,would like to go back as very good value for money.
