Well located and friendly clean place!

We stayed 2 nights and it was a very good choice for what we needed. The place is very centrally located and we could walk every where from there. The breakfast was included in the price and although I love the Spanish toast with either tomato or jam/butter and coffee, the quality wasn't great but I suppose you can always have it as a start of the day and grab something a bit more substantial later in the morning. The room was small but very clean and we had a private bathroom. the hotel was very clean and the couple who own it was very friendly and even gave us our room slightly before our check-in time. I definitely recommend it if you are on a budget and need to stay centrally located. I would definitely come back one day. By the way, we left our car in a nearby public car park calle HH Maristas, so I would also suggest this for people coming by car.
Great for the price

This place is cheap and cheerful. If you're on a budget and want somewhere to stay that's cheap, clean and warm, this place is good enough. There's an underground car park in La Paz, 2 minutes walk away. I'd recommend but don't forget you get what you pay for!
Nice Enough for What it Is

The couple only speak Spanish, so be aware of that when you check in, but they are lovely. We stayed in another building where they owned rooms. Breakfast was small as would be expected in Spain. The stay was quiet. Yu are also within walking distance of what you'd want to visit. Good place.
Great Value

Stayed here for 4 nights in August, 2016. Paid 15 Euro per night. Small single room with shared bath. Sink in room which made my life easier. A/C and wonderful WIFI. Very clean operation. Balcony overlooking street. Very secure. Excellent housekeeping. Quiet at night.
Convenient to old city, restaurants and shops. Superb location. Maria the manager was wonderful. Given the normally high prices of hotels in Granada and the location of this Pension I was happy to give up a big room for the convenience and value of this place. I would not think twice about going back.
There is another building under the name Milagroso which is on Teresa St just around the corner. I believe that both operations are run by the same folks. I did not stay in that building so I cannot speak to its suitability. I only stayed in the Matilde.
Great location, poor conditions

We booked at Pension Matilde but they moved us to a kind of students dormitory called pension La Milagrosa. For 38 euros a night, I think they should offer a little bit more than an extremely noisy room with really old furniture and not clean at all. Bed sheets were clean as well as the towels, though there were hairs on the pillow, I think they were just coming from the cleaning service. The blankets were at least 20 years old.
