We would go back any time. Kind, helpful and attentive staff. Everything is in good condition. Room/bathroom - clean. Bed/bed linen/towels – good quality and comfortable. Breakfast is basic but everything is fresh and constantly refilled. The hotel is located at a short walking distance from the centre, a quiet area amongst locals. Parking is possible in the inner courtyard.

I love Sibiu, and each time I feel blessed when I arrive to this city.
This time I chose to stay at Pensiunea Palazzo, and it was an excellent choice.
We arrived around nound. We rang the bell and a nice lady told us our room was ready and we were immediately checked in. The room was at the second floor with view towards the garden. The size was normal, not small, not big either, with 2 huge beds pulled together. The mattress was very comfortable, the pillows though a little thin, but we slept very well. In the room we had a LCD with a big screen , mini bar with 2 bottles of water free of charge and an individual aircon with a remote control. The wardrobe was on the lobby and provided a lot of space for a short staying.
The bathroom had a shower and complementary toiletries. The towels were white and smelled nice. Wi-fi is free and has a very good speed.
The accommodation comes with breakfast, too. The place we had breakfast was very nice and bright, tasteful furnished. We had different types of cheese, salami, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, pastry, fresh bred, juice, tea, coffee. Everything was good and fresh. We took our coffee outside in the garden, where there was a cat. Unfortunately the cat was hungry and not properly trained to receive guests. She didn't show us any good will. I recommend a proper training for this cat.:)
The boarding house had free parking inside and outside of the building. After 11 pm, there is no-one at the reception desk and you always need to have the key of the room with you, so you can enter into the courtyard and to the building.
It takes about 12-15 minutes walking, to reach city center. From the boarding house you can take either left or right, on small street and go straight to the center. The road is very pleasant. It leads you on a street where left and right side there are very nice houses. Everything is very quiet.
I recommend staying to this place and enjoy a very nice get away.

Arrived early afternoon. First impressions, seemed ok. Once inside looks more than ok. Pension Palazzo was very clean and well appointed. Very friendly welcome from the staff who checked me in and explained about Sibiu and how to make my way into the town centre.
My room was located on the top floor and was again very clean and nicely decorated. From the room I had views over the rooftops into the distance with no obstructions and down onto the ample off-road parking area and very nice garden.
Breakfast was buffet style with a large variety of options. Cereals, Meats (hot & cold) & Cheese, Fried eggs, Breads, Vegetables and sweet cakes to accompany coffee. Beverages of fruit juice, coffee and a tea selection. Plentiful offering and very good quality. I really enjoyed my stay at the Pensiunaea Palazzo and will stay there again on my next visit.

A lovely hotel within a short walking distance of Sibiu. The hotel is clean, rooms are large and comfortable with good facilities including free wifi, fridge, air con and TV. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice

Situated in a pretty quiet neighborhood of Sibiu, Palazzo offers very good accommodation conditions. Rooms are big but cosy and very, very neat. It has intercom access and offers its own parking space. Most of the parking lots are situated in the courtyard, behind closed gates. The pension is quiet and the personnel is polite. It offers only breakfast : the average European buffet breakfast. Cable tv, good wireless internet and, again, they pay very much attention to cleaning. The rooms are air-conditioned and they also have a small refrigerator. A mini-market is reachable within 250 meters and a petrol station some half kilometer away. The old town is 5 minute drive.
