Found the Peppercorn Motel on the net, photos looked lovely but were obviously taken quite a long time ago. Room was very tired and badly in need of a makeover. Very limited cookinģ facilities and very small.

On arrival, staff are friendly and meals were nice too, however the mattress in my room was very sagged and in need of replacement, the air conditioner unit was very noisy and I found a dead beetle on the mattress cover. The free Wi-Fi was painful to use, as the signal was poor and kept dropping out, but if you stand up close to the window the signal is better. The interior of the room was old and parts of the room had not been cleaned properly for a while.

Arrived at the Peppercorn for another work stay, everything went well with check in and settled in for the evening. Unfortunately the hot water system did not work in my room so was given the keys to the next room to use that one! Dinner was once again a good feed. Then when I turned my bed down for the evening I found two brown stains on the sheets that didn't smell very nice. After bringing to managements attention I moved my things into the room next door.

Quaint little town plenty to see in the area

Wow, was welcomed so warmly on check in and really enjoyed my stay. Nothing was too much trouble and even when I had trouble connecting my ipad to the WiFi, the manager was really helpful, I just needed to re-start and worked really well after that.
The food was great and the rooms are super clean. Highly recommend!
