My GPS led me into a market-day maze in the heart of the old city, but after a short walk I was rescued by the hotel staff. The room was delightful, after a short climb up a 16th century circular staircase. The seated, served breakfast was a surprise, and it could not have been better. The hotel is a real treasure.

This is a gem oh a find in Chambery. It is so close to center of the city and all the wonderful shops and restaurants. The owners are very accommodating, assisting with suggestions for day trips outside the city as well as wonderful restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. As this is an old building the rooms are a little quirky, in a good way. The rooms could use a bit more storage and a few more towel racks. The beds and pillows are high quality and so comfortable. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room, painted black with large pics framed in white and soft jazz playing. That is the atmosphere and then there is the food. It is a grand breakfast and worth every cent. We really enjoyed our stay

is amazing ....... wish had stayed there longer.Every room has it's own theme and the black breakfast room is stunning as is the breakfast.

Wow, what a lovely hotel, the attention to detail was second to none. They upgraded us to their club room and left a mat with a water bowl and food bowl ready for our little dog. They also unloaded and loaded our car for us. Only small criticism was that we felt that 25 euros per head was too expensive for breakfast so we went elsewhere.

A charming and individual hotel located ideally in the centre of the old town. The hosts were warm, inviting and accommodating. The room was beautiful, large, filled with everything one could want. Breakfast was generous and delicious. A place I would love to return to.
