Dirty sheets

Stayed for 2 nights this past weekend(Nov 17-19). We didn't notice that there was blood on the sheets (it wasn't from our stay) until after the first night which leads me to believe that the sheets weren't changed from the prior guest. Staff seemed pleasant and immediately changed the sheets after they were told but the hotel and rooms are tired and in need of an upgrade. There are many hotels in Phil and recommend that you find a different one for your stay as we will for our next visit.
Convenient & safe location, helpful staff, comfortable stay

Location: This is a great hotel for anyone looking to stay in downtown Philadelphia. We walked to the historic areas (Liberty Bell and Independence Hall), lots of local bars (would highly recommend McGillin's), and took the train to/from the airport (there is a train stop about 5 minutes from the hotel).
Building: The rooms were clean and the building was well maintained. It is clearly not a new property, but it was very comfortable and had everything needed. The staff was especially friendly and went above and beyond to be accommodating.
Noise: We stayed on the 7th floor and could hear some of the noise from the street but not enough to keep us awake.
Location, Location, Location...pretty good hotel too

First off the LOCATION is amazing. Right on Penn Square. Close enough to walk to most tourist sites you might want to visit. Great night life is withing walking distance especially on weekends.
First impression was the room was impeccably clean. We stayed in room 1401 which has a very wonky layout. We had asked if we could move to another room and we were obliged but nothing was available until the next day. After unpacking we decided not to move. Since most of our time was not in the hotel room is was not a huge impact. The placement of the TV was in a cubby next the the aircon system making it not able to be seen from the bed for the 2nd person. From couch it was an odd angle as well.
Breakfast was great often with turkey and egg white options. Limited to fruit, eggs, a meat or toast and waffle but great. Service in the dining area was also fantastic
Overall I could not say enough about how friendly and helpful EVERY member of the staff was. Great work by the management team hiring and training a great staff!
My only complaint was the Valet parking. Evert attendant was SUPER friendly. Time was usually 30 minutes on weekdays and only once was 45min on a weekend. I just had an issue with someone moving my aircon vents on the car. I'm ok with moving the seat as height diff was obvious. Turning on the heater, OK. Changing radio station from my auto setting of paired with device to their fav channel, OK. But move my vents. Man, I hate that. 8*) Considering the amount you pay for valet parking that should be taught. Very minor inconvenience honestly just something you don't expect in a high end place..
This hotel has a deal with the very nearby Chili's restaurant. They deliver the house food. We ordered once and it was fantastic and delivered quickly.
It is worth a mention that this location while perfect is directly in the center of the city. There are many vagrants around the area and if on foot you will be asked for change. Also during rush hours there is a large amount of traffic. You WILL hear it. People not accustomed to city living my be put off. If you are then this perfect location is not for you. 14th floor still had noise but livable. You might ask for 26th floor if noise is an issue
There were several large conventions ongoing when we stayed and the cost of this place was in the higher range. Most other hotels were sold out so this should probably be expected.

The hotel was located right in the city.. the infrastructure was old but not bad. The room itself was a ok nothing great. There is no parking available . If you take valet was 53 per night(if you go at night you won't see the valet available but If you go in they are still available) If look for public parking they are blocks away from hotel and the range from $36 up.
Neat old building, well sized room.

Great views but it’s like they did a remodel of some things but kept some old things. Example, couch and chair appear fairly new, but coffee tables and table and chairs look like they’re from the 1990s. Kitchen has been partially updated but the dishwasher and Formica counter tops look like they were from a few renovations ago. And the bathroom had this funky80s looking wallpaper and floor tile
But the views are fantastic, it’s clean, and centrally located. Guess I’m just surprised at the price how average I’d consider the space overall. The room interior itself I’d expect in some small midwestern town, and that’s probably not fair to small midwestern towns.
If you don’t really care about the above items, then you’ll most likely love it. Easy SEPTA ride from the airport, to a of restaurants, great views. If you travel every week for work like I do....well...read above. There’s a Courtyard next door I’m going to try next time.
