The first room given to us was overlooking somebody else's flat. Their windows open all day and washing line is just what you see when you look out of your window. The height of the room/ bed is the same height as the flat opposite so when your window is open and you are lying in bed they can all see you. Not a very nice room. We asked to be moved but were told we can have another room but will have to fork out extra money. We feel there is no choice so we did. I suggested that this room should be used as housekeeping room because it is not fit for purpose considering we were there for 5 days and it is still hot and therefore would require the windows open. We were given sea side facing room and it was fine after that. I will not stay at Pimaar ever again as the receptionist on duty when we checked in was not that helpful. She had the take it or leave it attitude. She should not be in the frontline.

Myself and my mum first stumbled across this lovely hotel by chance 3 years ago and have being coming every year since. The staff from reception right through to bar and dining room are welcoming and very friendly. With the beach on its doorstep and the town centre only a few minutes walk along the promenade with great shopping, restaurants and bars. Also public transport is great and very cheap so checking out all the towns close by is a great way to explore all that the Costa Brava has to offer....all in all great hotel highly recommended.....

Just returned from this Hotel arrived home 27/09/2017 and felt we had been to Paradise as we have been to this hotel for the last 4 years and the standards are so high and staff so friendly and helpful and Owners so caring on your stay.
Must say Jordi and his father so welcoming as owners and this is icing on cake.
Can not wait for next September as I have already re-booked for next year.

Just back from a seven night stay at this hotel, great sea view room cleaned and fresh towels every day and one of the comfiest beds I have slept on. Restaurant busy but always plenty of choice available. Staff very friendly and always happy to help.Spa very affordable and always available either gym or spa treatments. Bar area is quiet large but no problems getting served by the staff. All in all a brilliant hotel and I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

We stayed here in September for 7 nights. The room had a sea view and we were on the 6th floor. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the mattress was so comfy we're actually going out today to buy a new one ourself as we realise ours isn't very good! My only gripe was the one socket and no bin in the room and I kept looking into the tv expecting it to be a mirror but that was minor, everything else was spot on, even the fridge in the room was unexpected. We got up for breakfast every day, not something we usually do but it was fantastic, the selection was top notch and the egg station was an added bonus. The hotel pool on the roof was nice and refreshing for a cool down and although we didn't get to use the indoor pool it looks very nice. We enjoyed a few beers and game of pool in the bar. We found it was the cheapest place for drinks, which was unusual for a hotel bar. They also did a very nice sangria and one night there was a special offer. There was a disco every night until 1am but to be honest it doesn't bother us as we don't usually go to bed until then and being on 6th floor didn't hear it, that was if we weren't already at the disco. On the weekend it was just before the bank holiday and there were lots of Spanish who loved a good dance, it was great fun to see. We checked out a day early because we were visiting a friend in Barcelona and the staff were concerned, so we reassured them it was nothing to do with the hotel. Although it is unlikely we would come back to Blanes again, as we seemed to be a bit late and everything was closing down, if you did visit I could not rate this hotel highly enough.
