We booked this hotel because of the good price and we were very satisfied with this hotel, because Putgarten is a very quiet place and a really good possibility to relax and enjoy the island of Rügen.
The welcome was very friendly and the chiefs of the hotel have been very anxious to explain everything. So they were at every moment during the stay.
We took dinner in the restaurant every evening and liked it very much. We got what we expected: good typical meals of the region. Breakfast was as good as the dinner.
We were very surprised about the silence during night. Because of the extraordinary place of the hotel, you hear nothing, no car, neither train or voices.
The big rooms have been clean and in good conditions.
At the end I want to mention the two waitresses who have been on duty during the stay in the hotel. Misses A. and Misses St. have been very polite and gave the feeling that guests are welcome. An other guest made a complaint, but it was handled in a very proffesional way by the staff.
Our expectations have been fullfilled and we will come again.

The room is kept nicely and warm. Very quite hotel and village of Putgarten in general. Nothing disturbs at night at all. Room service is nice, everything clean. Food at the restaurant is good, breakfast good and reasonably diverse. My only reservation is the absence of the warm (or any) drinks outside the restaurant hours. The staff is friendly, just a bit "country".
