We stayed here for three nights in a private room (shared kitchen/bathrooms). Rooms were a bit retro but overall there were clean and large. Bathrooms very clean! The neighboring dorms were a bit rowdy but this could only be heard from outside (not within the rooms). Enjoyed our stay here, especially the convenient location (5-10mins walk to main shops)

Price we paid for our room not consistent with 'budget' accomodation.
Had to park down a hill and walk our heavy luggage up a narrow stairwell to get to our room.
Wasn't expecting hostel-style accomodation (admittedly this may have been my fault, however, can't imagine booking this style of accomodation as it is not what we wanted for this particular trip. I think this needs to be made more clear through booking sites).
We had a small room with one (uncomfortable) bed and a bathroom. Room was accessed through a shared area with shared kitchen and lounge room.
WALLS PAPER THIN. Can hear EVERYTHING from surrounding rooms.
Positive: free wifi (although not very reliable connection), 15 min walk to city centre

The lodge took about 10 minutes of walking to the downtown. I booked the standard room that toilet and bathroom was shared. Although they were very near, it was important that guests should carry the key if they locked the door after leaving their room. However, front desk was closed after 9pm that guest should call the staff instead!

Stayed 6 nights here, had our own lockable room and shared the common areas with two others rooms.
Showers were hot, rooms warm, free wifi, a laundry with ironing board etc
Affordable and close to the centre of town- walking distance! Lots of things we did we got picked up from the accommodation. Other guests were quiet and friendly.

Stay in a 6 bedroom dorm room with bunk beds, you can't sit on the bottom bunk and im a small person, there no way to get up on to the top bunk i resorted to using the windowsill. The room is clean and warm, the showers were clean and had good pressure and the toilets were clean. Almost forgot the wifi is not the best cuts in and out.
