My company had a meeting here and the lunch buffet was average. They had selections of quesadillas which were pretty good. The Churros tasted like deep fried lard. They were awful. They had no sugar on them. So I complained to the lady who was working our event and she said I will get new ones made. And they brought more that had some sort of glaze. But they were terrible.
I had just given a big presentation and needed a sweet treat so I went to the bar and my co-worker and I had an apple dumpling with salted caramel ice cream and it was very good.
The continental breakfast in our room was pretty good. It was bagels and fruit and a tray of danish.
The hotel is very nice looking. So if you plan a banquet there I would just be sure you specify exactly what you want and the quality level you demand and expect and see if they can exceed your expectations.

The facility is clean, but shows wear on some furnishings. Our group had frequent problems getting doors to unlock, even with new cards. Staff seem genuinely perplexed how to resolve the problem and blamed us. I overheard other guests complaining of the same issue.
Most staff were friendly and courteous. There was one issue of the shuttle forgetting to do a pickup.

Stayed here for one night before an early flight at Greater Pittsburgh International Airport. Nothing but good things to say! Room was spacious & very clean. Furnishings were up-to-date. Front desk clerk was VERY friendly and helpful! He even stepped out to call an elevator when he saw our hands were full with our luggage. Park & Fly was a bargain compared to Airport parking lots!

We choose this hotel every time we visit Pittsburgh. Much of the same staff is still there since we started staying there six years ago, always a good sign! Everyone at every level there is always very helpful with any request. The food is wonderful morning, noon and night. There is a beautiful courtyard with outdoor seating and a pond. My only negative is that some of the rooms need updating.

This Marriott is close the the airport and many business offices. While not a new property, it is well kept up with a decent restaurant and a great fitness center. The shuttle service is superb and flexible. If you're looking for a hotel in this area, this Marriott should definitely be on your list.
