This hotel is not fancy at all. It is convenient and close to the hotel. It is clean and a good place to stay the night.
The shuttle to and from the airport is also a huge plus; you don't have to worry about finding a taxi and communicating with the driver.

We paid $18 include 2 ways airport shuttle!!!!

Not top of the line but not that bad like people described in their reviews.
Sheets and towels were clean yes bathroom have some mold but over all it's o.k.

They were o.k.
we asked 4 umbrella they arranged one.
Shuttle go in time can't complain.
Restaurant little bit pricey but food was good.
For that price i think it worth it.

We stayed in this hotel several times now. Always, when we arrive in Bangkok (late) and wanted to fly to Samui the next morning. They offer free hotel shuttle which is very convenient for us.
The hotel itself has big rooms, is basic clean. It's old and you can see a lot of paint off the walls, some stains on the walls here and there. But everything was working. The AC might be leaking, but it's alright for a night.
The linen are clean, but some of them has holes.
All rooms have small balconies and we always ask for an airport view. So we can see the planes start and land and be a little spotter for ourselves.
The restaurant offers good cooked Thai food.
Again, this hotel is good for us for just spending the night after a touchdown and leaving the next day.

i've stayed at plai garden on several occasions, but only because of its proximity to suvarnabhumi international airport and its free airport shuttle service. plai garden is affordable, clean, and comfortable, but not much else. lower your expectations, and you won't be disappointed.

This place is a dump, stay somewhere else. Aircon was broken and no water in the shower. The place is old, filthy, and in desperate need of renovations. You get what you pay for.. nothing really positive I can say about this place.
