The rooms were lovely...We had a room on the 18th floor with a beautiful view of the water. The rooms are large, spacious and quite comfortable. The tub and shower area a little outdated but we did not care. There is a fridge and coffee maker as well in the rooms. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Very nice pool area.... Plenty of food at the buffet breakfast with a person cooking eggs to order. Typical buffet with fruits, cereals,cheeses, meats.....Did not care for most of the hot foods offered on the buffet....it changed everyday....All in all the buffet was fine....you do not go hungry. No problems getting Uber rides from the hotel.....wifi worked great. I would .. stay there again for $71 dollars a night (including breakfast for two). ..I thought the hotel was great.....

It is a very old hotel and it needs renovation.
Because the room was old it had a bad smell and it looked dirty.
The pictures in the side makes it look very nice and modern.
The positive was the view from my room the location and the very friendly and helpful hotel staff.

Enjoy a colonial style big hotel in a convenient location. Worth the value. The outside swimming pool is large. The scenery view of the city bay is impressive. A good starting point if someone wants to feel the Panama touch.

I stayed in this hotel in June 2017. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by taxi and is located next to the sea. The helpful staff at reception went out of their way to make the guests feel welcome and to make checking in a smooth process. My room was huge and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Breakfast, however, provided an average selection of food, with stale bread. Service in the breakfast room and pub area varied between non-existent and very slow. The great view of the city from the pub area of the hotel is worth mentioning. It is unlikely that I will stay here again.

We booked this hotel as it was one associated with the Panama Canal tours and where we could be collected from. The room was large and clean with huge windows providing a few of the area. Furnishings were a little dated with a refurbishment needed to make the most of its location and proximity to amenities and nearby malls.
The view from the pool/bar area was amazing at night but the ambiance was ruined by the very very loud music being played for a children's party that was being held there - all I can say is that those children all aged around 4-7 years will have hearing issues. Service and bar staff worked hard and provided a good service as did the door staff who arranged early morning transfers for us.
