I relied on previous reviews to help make a decision on staying in this low cost hotel and why the following was not mentioned is beyond me...
1. Hotel Beds are equiv to sleeping on a tiled floor. (This resort is for exploring, alot of which is done on foot, so a decent bed to rest weary bones is essential).
2. My one small Bedroom window had frosted glass. (Possibly an upgrade to an air vent which allowed daylight into little room).
3. Transfer from Airport expensive on pocket & your time. (A car is essential).
My 5-day trip ended on day 3 when I booked a €48 flight home (cut my losses with savings on further petrol usage, meals etc.)
Verdict:
Better than a hostel as hotel occupancy low, so it is very quiet, even now in peak season (says it all!).
Choose another resort for your holiday base, one that affords an accessible coastal option, and, travel to Antequera on an excursion or day trip, even overnight it (but not this Hotel). El Torcal and much more is all possible on a day trip.
Antequera, although a historic town, is not worth a longer stay. It is so very quiet in the evenings, limited tourists and an aged population that stroll the squares in the evenings. Does not leave an appetite to return or even recommend, unfortunately!
Now only if a refund were possible!

This great, friendly little hotel is located in the very heart of town and very easy walking distance of all the interesting sites. The rooms are reasonably modern, spotlessly clean but basic. The outlooks are a little disappointing though with either a big window overlooking the square, which could be noisy, or with small windows giving onto small atria; the latter are, at least, quiet. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but there a couple of nearby cafes which do very decent, local breakfasts.

We stayed in Antequera to attend a wedding and this hotel was very conveniently situated. The check in and out was easy. There is a small lift and lovely marble staircase. The room and all the public areas were spotlessly clean. The aircon in the room was great as was the shower and hairdryer. The bed was ok. The only negative was that being at the front of the hotel, we found it quite noisy at night and early morning but the view across th square to the church was good. The location is great and very close to plenty of shops and restaurants. There is aroom with toaster, microwave, kettle and large fridge freezer so you can go to the supermarket and eat back at the hotel if you want. There is a small seating area outside too.

The Hotel is located in the center of Antequera, so everything is within walking distance. The rooms are a bit dated with very short beds (180 cm), which becomes a problem if your a person. The staff is very friendly and flexible if you can't check in at their normal checkin times.

Can't beat the location on San Sebastián plaza- easy walks to everything and great views. Staff was very helpful recommending restaurants and sites to see. Also offered to reserve a rental car for us.
