It was the first time for my wife and I to stay in Lyon. We really enjoyed this boutique hotel and its ideal location. Everything is at a walking distance ...from the post office to the artist and veg markets on Sundays as the « vieux » Lyon. Our room was 306 and we had a lovely and open view. The service was nice and efficient and one of the nights we started a conversation about movies of the 50s with the night receptionist who had an encyclopaedic knowledge of ...brush up your movies and you might continue on the conversation.
Note: specific compliment for the interior decoration of the room and for the hallways ...see photos.

Wonderful hotel, central location, metro station across the street, walking distance to great restaurants and shopping
We had a beautiful room with panoramic views of Lyon, large corner room with comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great breakfast.
Service was fantastic.

We were at this hotel last week and enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely suite overlooking the square with great views. Room was kept very clean and beds were lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the chef cooked eggs for us each morning and it was presented very nicely. The reason I say I am not convinced it deserves 5 star is over little things. As someone said previously the bathroom products are fixed to the wall; at breakfast dirty dishes are not taken away from your table and you are left with no room; the hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere and we felt when we entered the hotel the staff just looked at us but were not overly friendly. Don't get me wrong we had a great time in this lovely city and the hotels location is perfect. If you enjoy eating and shopping I have never seen so many shops and restaurants in one city, it was great. Don't miss the buns from Aux Merveilleux de Fred they are to die for!! Enjoy.

The hotel is nice. Very well located, Location is a plus. Got a good rate but the hotel is not cheap. Anyways, I would come back, staff very professional and nice. Comfy bed, room and shower. One can walk to nice restaurants, museums, tourists attractions, information, subway, hop on hop off, etc.

This was a nice hotel. Rooms were comfortable (we were in room 207) although our friends who were on first floor said their room was very hot for the duration of the 3 night stay. The bathrooms are you standard chain type bath with one sink. The bath products are nice - but are bulk so don't expect any souvenirs:-)
The bar is nice and serves a bit of food with each drink. I think the included breakfast was very good with eggs to order, juices, yogurts, fruit, croissant.
We did get a hop on hop off bus pass, and I would suggest you take advantage of this perk. It was very nice, and gives a nice overview of the city.
