Worn out Premiere

We have stayed in Premiere hotels in various places in France. Usually they are a good choice for a economical nights sleep along the way. This hotel is in a need of renovation. The smell in the corridors and worn out rooms were not nice.

This was possibly the worst hotel I ever stayed in. First, a stale smell in the corridor. Then a spacious room but only because there was little or no furniture. What furniture there was (tiny desk and chair) was old and worn. Vinyl floor with what looked like burn marks, lots of them. Bedroom was not particularly clean. Bathroom definitely wasn't, with mould on some of the floor/wall joints. I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment. Restaurant/bar (next door in Campanile) was reasonable, food was good, service was friendly. Reception (again in Campanile) was friendly and efficient. Bed was comfortable and clean. Overall though it was not a good experience and I don't see myself returning. You get what you pay for!
Cheap & average.

Plus sides: Room and bathroom spaceous and clean. Good quality bed. Easy access. Secure gated parking. Quiet location.
Minus sides: Buffet breakfast adverticed at 6 Euros, but was not available at hotel, but at next door hotel and at over 11 Euros ! Very bad smell in bathroom, coming from drains.
Very Basic but cheap

No frills...Lino flooring, pod type en suite with small shower area with plastic curtain. Outside of centre of town, this is a contractor hotel but shares bar and reception with Campanile. Quieter than Campanile as is further from main road but residents are possibly a notch below that of its neighbour therefore some disturbance from early risers and late night revellers. Rack rate is cheap, possibly the cheapest in the area. Fine if not intending to spend time other than sleeping and bed is comfortable.
Just perfect for our group for the night

Having a group of 50 (37 youths included) we were recommended this hotel by an external company. It was perfect and suited our needs very well. Our check in was without any issues and the staff were very pleasant and happy to deal with us.
The rooms were simple and each of them had the two single beds and the third bed was in a bunk position above. The rooms as I've said were simple but clean and each had a TV, a desk and toilet/shower room.
Breakfast was in the next door hotel and we were allocated our 30 min time slot which was pre-arranged the night before. The staff again were very helpful and nothing was an issue when it came to dealing with the large group of kids travelling with us.
