Lekha, the owner, is friendly and attentive. I lived in this wonderful area for 5 years so it was a bit of a homecoming . The room was fine and very clean. Breakfast was great. I suggested the interior and exterior lighting be changed to a warmer hue which would make this guesthouse far more homey and welcoming. Great value for London, nice experience, go for it!

We were extremely happy with our accom and breakfast at this B&B.
Would def recommended 😊.
Spacious room, nice bathroom and good selection of things for breaky.
Very convenient location with plenty of restaurants and a nice local pub.
She upgraded us to a bigger bed (not sure if beause hubby is 6'2"?? They obviously have different size rooms (just was for what you want).
Couldn't ask for better.

Primrose Guest House is in a quiet area and close to Underground (Belsize Park )and also a bus C11 which goes to Swiss Cottage underground and Finchley Road. Primrose Garden Road is in a safe area -as much as anywhere is safe in London these days.
Some reviews have mentioned the stairs to the rooms -there is no lift but what do you expect in a building of this age?Anyway if an 80 year old codger like myself can manage it isn't really an issue.
The room I had was of reasonable size, very, very clean and the bed comfortable. An iron, hairdryer and tea/ coffee is also provided. The breakfast was very good -an English one (too much for me ).Juice is provided and combinations available (eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and baked beans)so you can have a different breakfast each day.I was at Primrose Guest House for nine days and didn't get tired of the breakfasts at all
All the above sounds very positive -rightly so but what makes Primrose Guest House really special is the owner. Lehka really goes out of her way to make each guest feel welcome from the warm, initial greeting to a genuine interest in their plans and experiences.This is not something you can always expect so makes a stay here a really 'one out of the box'.
I cannot recommend Primrose Guest House more strongly.
I am looking forward to my next stay which, unfortunately, will not be until next year.

We recently stayed at Primrose Guesthouse and were made to feel very welcome by the owner, Lekha. The rooms were very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was superb. Lekha was the perfect host. Thank you from the Gallagher family!

Stayed at primrose to be close to the Anna Freud centre as had training there from the 10th to the 12th July 2017. The guest house is exceptionally clean, warm in a beautiful area of London and close to some amazing sights. Easy to walk to local sights including Regents and Hyde Park. Restaurants in the area are fabulous and not too expensive. Lekha went out of her way to ensure our stay was like home from home. Due to being vegan there was always soya milk in the fridge and we were able to use the kitchen day and night to access the fridge for making a cup of tea. it was a lovely room, quiet and perfect for our needs.
