A lovely hotel in a great location with such kind, helpful staff. Reception and communal areas are lovely, but the bedrooms are in serious need of updating. The bathrooms look like they've been rejuvenated so hopefully the rooms will follow soon. Amy questions, please ask.

Beautiful hotel with lovely little perks like the Sherry and the parking we absolutely loved it here so have booked to come again in February.
The staff are so helpful and can’t do enough for you we had an amazing stay and can’t wait to come again :D

Hotel looks lovely from outside,staff are great as was the breakfast but our room wasn't great..The bathroom had been updated but the bedroom was looking very tired and needed a make over,The Windows also could do with a clean.

Called in here last March for a coffee as we had time to spare before our train and had such a warm welcome that we decided that if we ever visited again we would stay here. Well, what a good decision that was. So accommodating as we arrived at 10 am with cases as we had travelled by train and were allowed to keep them there until we booked in at 3 pm. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of sherry on returning, the staff are lovely. We had room 203 which was delightful and we would gladly have the same room again when we return. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the beds so comfortable. Lovely characteristic dining room for breakfast and one of the nicest breakfast. We loved our stay and next time will book for two nights. Thanks for a lovely break. This time we did not experience any strange happenings in the bar area.

A very comfortable hotel right in the centre of Shrewsbury. Beware the sat-nav will take you round the town to avoid the pedestrianised High Street, but the valet parking was very efficient.
Brilliant restaurant - both dinner and breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
