After a 14 hour drive from Port Blair to Diglipur this place has been a breath of fresh air... awesome location and amazing people!
Situated in a remote village at Kalipur the resort is at a convenient distance from the Kalipur beach turtle nesting site, Saddle peak, which is the highest peak in Andaman and known for its beautiful trekking trail along the only river that flows through the islands, not forgetting the beautiful Pebble Beach at Lamiya Bay...
I am so in love with the place... everytime you think of leaving you'll end up having a lingering feeling of wanting to spend more time here....I couldn't possibly put all of it in words, but Pristine is a must visit when you plan for Andaman next! :) :)
Keep exploring!! :) :)

So calming night it was for us after 18 hours of journey from Port Blair.A beautiful dawn at Kalipur beach.Nice cluster of cottages strewn all over with lawns, little muddy roads with palm trees on both sides.Very well maintained.
Great Stay at Pristine

We stayed here in Dec 2016 for 4 nights. Besides Turtle this is the only place to stay up north. The room was clean and spacious, the food was ok. There is a bar that is a bit of a local hangout that we found interesting. As there is very little on-line about the town and booking anything independently is impossible we had Alex help us get to to Ross & Smith and also arranged for Krishna to take us to a cave.. that was an experience. Krishna was such a fun and nice person, we really enjoyed our time with him! you have to remember when visiting that this is a very remote part of the Andamans that is just starting to experience tourism so not everything will be perfect customer service wise. The only improvement I think I could ask for would be a bit more attention to the grounds. When we stayed it grass about the houses was quite overgrown. But if that I my biggest complaint thats pretty good.
Home away from home!

Exhausted from the 12 hours long journey from Havelock to Diglipur, my best friend and I reached Pristine which is 25kms from the main market in the late evening - riding over countless potholes on the way with two loaded bags! At the reception we were greeted by Alex (owner) who's got an energising vibe! We shared the same throughout the stay.
Pristine Resort is set amidst lush green plantation across a several acres of space, 200m away is the quite Kalipur beach. The food tastes amazing and the staff is kind.
What was supposed to be a 2 nights stay had us staying here one additional night considering the beautiful surroundings. Set a foot here and you'll feel how overwhelmed you'd be at the time of departure. No matter how long you stay here, you would want more!!
Can't wait to replan a trip to this place!
Beware! Dangerous Place with Violent Manager
Keyser S on 18/08/2017 16:14
Selva the Manager is a dangerous man, he tried to steal my camera and assault me.
He hit my wife and then hid like a coward. All we did was complain that their dogs had damaged some clothes. The management are crazy, they ganged up on us like a pack of animals and used their dogs as protection.
Mike (Uncle) the so called owner was very aggressive in his manner. They may appear kind at first but it is all an act!
Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else, the place is really not that nice anyway, lots of power cuts and they wouldn't use the generator, the food is average and the beach is disgusting. So many other places to stay in the area.
How this made it into the Lonely Planet I do not know, so I am having it removed from the new edition.
You have been warned!!! Stay at your own peril.
