This is my regular hotel for business trips to Auckland as we have a corporate deal with them. Service at reception and facilities are generally very good.
My suggestions for staying here:
1. If you are a light sleeper ask for a quiet room (ie on the upper levels on the side that is away from the street, or in the residences tower). Some of the rooms are very noisy at night, even on the 5th/6th floors.
2. The restaurant is a bit of a shambles compared to the rest of the hotel, with bad service and food quality, especially at breakfast time. Eat elsewhere if possible. Room service not too bad if necessary.

Congratulations to everyone at The Pullman.
Your professional, efficient service in all areas, was exceptional when compared with other hotels I visited on my recent trip to both South and North Islands.
My room was modern, spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the Harbour.
All facilities were available, free WiFi, TV, tea and coffee making facilities etc.
The queen size bed was very comfortable with a number of pillows to choose from for a good night’s sleep.
May I personally thank and congratulate Harry, The Concierge who tried all avenues to help me with a lost mobile phone attachment which had gone astray in the post from Queenstown to The Pullman. We are both hoping it may turn up!
Not far from the Pullman via Old Government House, now the Auckland University was The Domain and a little further to walk, Parnell a quaint village and the beautiful Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Cot set up in our room & friendly staff gave our baby a lovely teddy bear on arrival. The double queen room was perfect as had loads of space for the cot and baby gear & two spaces. Love staying here, has everything we need & helpful staff.

Right from pulling up outside every little thing was attended to promptly, efficiently, and courteously. The valet immediately attended to the car while room keys and services were instantly made available. A large well appointed room with the most comfortable bed made the stay a luxurious event.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and could not fault anything about it. We arrived early from a flight and our bags were stored immediately and efficiently. The staff were friendly and very accommodating throughout our stay. We did not book the breakfast but did eat there when convenient. It was very good although expensive. Several breakfast places are available on the walk to Queen St. as an alternative. The hotel is on a hill and the walk is short to the train station and harbor but could be difficult if you are not reasonably fit. Overall a great place to stay in Auckland.
